Angie Craig's chameleon act

Image
There's an old joke that asks how you give a chammeleon a nervous breakdown. There are 2 answers, with the first answer being 'by putting the chameleon against a plaid background.' The other answer is 'by putting it against a paisley background.' I say this as the innocent bystander watching Angie Craig try to decide whether to run for the open U.S. Senate seat that Tina Smith currently hold as a moderate or whether she should run as a guns-ablazin' wild-eyed progressive. To Craig's credit, she's doing a nice job spinning her flip-flops, saying "I’ve always been hard to define as a member of Congress in my votes and I don’t think I’m very definable now. I always listen to my constituents, and that’s what I’ll continue to do for the people of Minnesota." Actually, she's easily defined. She's a hard-core liberal who doesn't believe in justice. She voted to impeach President Trump twice, once without a hint of admissable evidence. The...

Is Tom Homan a miracle-worker, Minneapolis edition?

Image
Is Tom Homan a miracle-worker? When he arrived in Minnesota Monday night, things were spinning out of control for ICE and US Border Patrol, especially after the shooting death of Alex Pretti. Homan was sent to Minnesota with instructions to calm things down and to restore sanity to a chaotic state governed by lunatics like Tim Walz, Keith Elliso and Jacob Frey. Though I'm still skeptical about whether Homan's hard work will succeed, it isn't hyperbole to say that Homan's done heroic work in less than a week. According to this article , "Tom Homan said Minnesota state leaders acknowledged the legitimacy of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and agreed county jails are permitted to notify ICE when criminal offenders are being released , following meetings this week with Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and local law enforcement officials." That alone is worthy of miracle status. Like I said, I'm still s...

Amy Klobuchar announces bid for Minnesota governor

Image
While Amy Klobuchar picked better weather than when she launched her bid for the White House, little has changed with her. She's still the do-nothing DFL politician who's been protected by Twin Cities print and TV media. Sen. Klobuchar announced her bid to become Minnesota's next lefty governor by touting "she is one of the most bipartisan senators in the U.S. Senate." She once issued a statement announcing that she'd worked with a GOP senator from Missouri to get the budget increased for advertising for national parks. That year, I can't tell you how nervous I was that the advertising budget for national parks wouldn't be sufficient. Thank God St. Amy rushed in and saved the day with that bill. The truth is that she's one of the most partisan legislators in DC. After then-Speaker Pelosi pushed the American Rescue Plan Act through the House, economists from both sides of the aisle criticized the bill while predicting that the bill would cause infl...

Tim Walz, Jacob Frey break promise on criminal illegal aliens

Image
The thoroughly predictable has happened. Tim Walz and Jacob Frey broke their promise with President Trump on them helping capture criminal illegal aliens. As of 1/29/26, there were 1,688 pages of Criminal illegal aliens caught nationwide. On the first page of the DHS website, half of the people on the page were caught in Minneapolis. Of those caught in Minneapolis, 5 of the criminal illegal aliens had convictions of sexual assault, rape or rape of a teenager. Another 3 had convictions of homicide. On this blog, these criminal illegal aliens are nicknamed Jacob Frey's neighbors. As with all Trump deals, it comes with both carrots and sticks. These are President Trump's demands : Turn over illegals in local jails or subject to arrest warrants to the feds. Have state and local law enforcement commit to turning illegal immigrants over to the feds. Make local police help the feds track down and detain illegal immigrants wanted for crimes. Partner with the feds to "protect Amer...

Donald Trump: Jacob Frey playing with fire

Image
One of the things I most like about President Trump is that he isn't preoccupied with sugarcoating the truth. Whether you agree or disagree with him, he isn't afraid to tell you what he's thinking. A recent example of this is his warning shot at Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey that he's playing with fire. This firestorm started when 'Boy Toy' Frey said "Minneapolis does not, and will not, enforce Federal Immigration Laws." People understand that Frey is grandstanding to look tough. It isn't working, though. He's about to get flattened by President Trump. If Frey thinks that he can go toe-to-toe with the Leader of the Free World without getting hurt, then he's a blithering idiot. Frey apparently thinks that he's out of legal jeopardy. On that, he's wrong. ICE and/or Border Patrol can sue him, costing his city millions of dollars. Frey hasn't realized that he isn't fighting with the MNGOP. He's fighting Donald Trump and Tom ...

Kash Patel, FBI vs. anti-ICE activists

Image
It's been apparent for quite some time that the anti-ICE activists are well-trained, well-paid rent-a-mob employees. Thanks to Cam Higby's reporting and the FBI's reporting, we now know that "The FBI director confirmed this week that his agency is investigating after independent journalist Cam Higby leaked what he described as encrypted chats from the Signal messaging app showing local groups coordinating efforts to track and obstruct U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents." Further, it's getting reported that "The chats show activists collecting license plate data, dispatching mobile patrols to search for ICE vehicles, and mobilizing crowds, according to Higby. The groups also provide ICE observer training to members, Higby explained." I was quoting from David Strom's article when I noticed "CONFIRMED: There is a group chat with other activists assigned to follow ICE agents. The craziest part about these organized activists...

St. Cloud, MN City Council confirms sanctuary city status

Image
In a move that's highly disappointing but not the least bit surprising, the ST. Cloud City Council unofficially declared itself a sanctuary city . KNSI's Jake Judd reported "(KNSI) — The St. Cloud City Council voted 6-1 Monday evening to reaffirm its commitment to being a welcoming community, while a resolution on law enforcement was postponed until March. The resolutions came as Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations have intensified across St. Cloud and Minnesota in recent weeks. A resolution by Council Member Hudda Ibrahim reaffirms the city’s 2017 commitment to welcoming all residents regardless of immigration status , ethnicity, or country of origin. " What a bunch of spineless idiots we have 'leading' our city. City Council President Mike Conway was one of the councilmembers who voted to confirm St. Cloud's sanctuary status. He's also running as a Republican for the state legislature. After last night's vote, he can drop out of that ...

Tim Walz calls, Donald Trump answers, Tom Homan travels to Minneapolis

Image
A longtime reader of this blog highlighted the fact that Gov. Walz called President Trump Monday morning . President Trump said "Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength." Here's hoping that Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey will stop with their intentionally incendiary threats to law enforcement. It's been obvious that Walz and Frey have wanted to stir up controversy within Minnesota. President Trump also spoke with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Through Truth Social, President Trump said "I just had a very good telephone conversation with Mayor Jacob Frey, of Minneapolis. Lots of progress is being made! Tom Homan will be meeting with him tomorrow in order to continue the discussion. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP" After his conversation with President Trump, Mayor Frey "took to X", where he...

Kendall Quall's big mistake

Image
A loyal reader of this blog just sent me a screenshot touting Kendall Qualls. The screenshot is short on truth. What it lacks in truth, it makes up for in fiction. Here's Kendall's fiction: Kendall Qualls should be ashamed for spewing this BS. First, Qualls knows better than this. Jeff Johnson and Lisa Demuth have both confirmed that they're abiding by the Convention's endorsement. This appears to be Qualls attempting to be something he isn't. While I'm not disputing whether Mr. Qualls will abide by the endorsement, I'm calling BS that he's THE ONLY GOP CANDIDATE who will abide by the endorsement. This brings into question whether Mr. Qualls is willing to say anything to win. We don't need another candidate who'll put together fiction to win. We've had too many candidates who fit that description throughout the years. Next, we need people who fit J.C. Watts' description of character. Watts said that "the definition of character is d...

Brian O'Hara's Face the Nation experience

Image
Brian O'Hara, the Police Chief for the Minneapolis Police Department, aka the MPD, was interviewed by Face the Nation's Margaret Brennan Sunday morning. According to the official Face the Nation transcript , Brennan's first question was " What have you been able to learn about the shooting? Because we did just hear the claims by Secretary Noem and Mr. Bovino and their version of what happened. Do the videos and evidence back up their descriptions?" O'Hara's reply was "So, unfortunately, we don't have any official information from federal law enforcement about what has happened. Even when our officers initially responded to the scene, our watch commander was not given even the most basic information that is typical in a, in a law enforcement involved shooting, just to ensure that there is potentially no other victims. Since then, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension responded to the scene at my request. They were blocked from the scene yes...

Buy DFL a dictionary ASAP; they don't know what murder means

Image
Apparently, the DFL is too cheap to purchase dictionaries. It's either that or they're just liars. According to this article , Ilhan Omar said "I am absolutely heartbroken, horrified, and appalled that federal agents murdered another member of our community . It is beyond shameful these federal agents are targeting our residents instead of protecting them..." The definition of murder is "the killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered in law. In the U.S., special statutory definitions include murder committed with malice aforethought, characterized by deliberation or premeditation or occurring during the commission of another serious crime, as robbery or arson first-degree murder, or murder one, and murder by intent but without deliberation or premeditation second-degree murder, or murder two." Thankfully, Dustin Grage is doing the work that the lwgacy media won't do. He's 'committing acts of journalism' by posting p...

Is Minneapolis involved in a spiritual fight?

This morning, an ICE agent allegedly shot and killed a person. Though details are sketchy, one thing remains constant. Gov. Tim Walz, DNC Chair Ken Martin and Sen. Tina Smith are insisting that President Trump pull all ICE agents out of Minnesota and Minneapolis. That won't happen as that'd be the highest profile heckler's veto in history. Instead of urging restraint, Tim Walz is reaching for the can of white gas. He is quoted as saying "Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now." TRANSLATION: We want the federal government to let us return to the peaceful days of Minneapolis being a crime-riddled sanctuary city. Actually, now is the time for Christians to remind themselves how insignificant they are. This isn't a time to shift into 'Superman mode.' It's time for us to shift into spiritual warfare mode : Put on the whole armor of God, th...

Michele Tafoya on Donald Trump's endorsement

Image
If you're wondering if Michele Tafoya wants President Trump's endorsement, the answer is yes. Though she didn't put it this way, the reality is that she needs Trump's base to turn out for her to have a shot at winning Tina Smith's open Senate seat. It's important to stipulate, though, that she'll need to win over independents and sane-thinking Democrats. While sane-thinking Democrats are rare in elected politics, there seems to be plenty of them in normal life. In her interview with the RealClearPolitics Podcaast team , Tafoya showed why she's a formidable opponent for the open Minnesota Senate seat. During the early discussion of how she'd like the race to go, Michele Tafoya was asked if she wanted Trump's endorsement. She said that, first, people just want sanity. Tafoya said "we think there are lots of paid protesters but there are people who just want sanity." When asked what her perfect scenario was for getting elected, they asked ...

Heather Abrahamson should be fired

Image
Apparently, Dr. Heather Abrahamson thinks that she's smarter than her students. Similarly, she apparently needs to see an eye doctor. She's featured in this week's viral video because she told one of her Becker HS students that "just because you're alive doesn't mean you're intelligent." In the video, she's videotaped as arguing with her class about Renee Nicole Good's death. In fact, she said that it was the ICE officer's responsibility to de-escalate the situation. While that's usually solid advice, some situations don't lend themselves to that. In the video that I saw, Good's partner-in-crime (figure of speach) was taunting the ICE agent while Good parked her vehicle at an angle in the middle of the street. The ICE agent ordered her to get out of the vehicle. Instead of getting out of her vehicle, Good put the vehicle in gear and hit the agent. In what world is that intelligent? She's quoted in the article as saying that ...

Minnesota's leftward lurch makes Minnesota unlivable

Image
A friend of mine reminded me of then-Gov. Wendy Anderson on the cover of Time Magazine holding a 3-4lb. northern pike. In the article, it said that "if California was the girl you'd want to date, Minnesota would be the girl you'd want to marry." These days, they're the women you'd want to divorce. Between both states' fraud, Minnesota's criminal alien population and California's ultra-high taxes, why you'd want to live in either state is a mystery. The more I think about it, that isn't exactly true. I wouldn't want to live in urban cesspools like Minneapolis, L.A. or San Francisco but I'm fine living in St. Cloud. Further, dealing with idiot governors like Gavin Newsom or Tim Walz is painful. Personally, I've dealt with Mark Dayton and Tim Walz the past 15 years. If you talk to well-informed Minnesotans, they'll tell you going from Dayton to Walz was a drop-off. We need a major change. Whether we get that, I don't know. I...

Scott Bessent owns Gavin Newsom in Davos

Image
Gavin Newsom traveled from California to Davos, Switzerland to hobnob with the globalists at the World Economic Forum, aka WEF. To say that it hasn't been a fun trip for Gov. Newsom isn't just understatement. It's a point of humiliation for Gov. Newsom which will stick with him for years to come. Gov. Newsom's difficulties started when he characterized Secretary Bessent as being smug. Bessent unloaded on him , "saying the governor 'strikes me as Patrick Bateman meets Sparkle Beach Ken.'" Then Bessent obliterated Newsom, saying " He may be the only Californian who knows less about economics than Kamala Harris . He's here this week with his billionaire sugar daddy, Alex Soros , and Davos is the perfect place for a man who, when everyone else was on lockdown, when he was having people arrested for going to church, he was having $1,000 a night meals at the French Laundry." OUCH! It's gotta sting to be called "the only Californian wh...

DFL Chairman Richard Carlbom thinks that you're stupid

Image
It was just a matter of time before the DFL trotted out its time-tested drivel about rich Republicans after Michele Tafoya jumped into the U.S. Senate race. Chairman Carlbom tweeted "Minnesotans want leaders who lower costs and protect health care, not self-interested television personalities looking to turn their support for Donald Trump into a political brand." Of course, it wouldn't be a DFL tweet if it didn't include something about "the rich." Check this out: "Minnesotans want leaders who lower costs and protect health care — not self-interested television personalities looking to turn their support for Donald Trump into a political brand." - DFL Chair Richard Carlbom pic.twitter.com/WjxYUA0L8J — Minnesota DFL (@MinnesotaDFL) January 21, 2026 The DFL should thank their lucky stars that the media either won't talk about Bernie Sanders and Ilhan Omar, a pair of millionaire socialists, or who will briefly mention the millionaire socialists ...

Michele Tafoya announces U.S. Senate bid

Image
People from across the political spectrum have speculated whether Michele Tafoya would run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Tina Smith. This morning, Ms. Tafoya ended that speculation by announcing that she's officially running for Sen. Smith's seat ! KSTP reports that Michele Tafoya "announced Wednesday morning that she’s running for the U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota that is currently held by Sen. Tina Smith. Smith announced last year that she would not seek reelection." In a statement, Ms. Tafoya said "I didn’t come to this decision lightly. But I’m not willing to stand on the sidelines while Minnesotans are let down by leaders who refuse to take responsibility. This campaign is about putting people first, not politics as usual." Her videotaped introduction stands out because a) she brings an outsider's voice and an outsider's perspective and b) her positivity is genuine. I've yet to meet her but I've followed her sports broadcast...

Picturing ICE through the eyes of anti-ICE idiots

Image
Anti-ICE idiot journalists portray themselves as highlighting anti-ICE goons like this: "I think the people risking their lives and livelihoods to protect their neighbors are the best of us, and I feel like we all owe them a debt of gratitude." Stupidity like this deserves highlighting ... for their hatred of the U.S. Not enforcing laws is anti-American. Further, it leads to anarchy. Anarchy leads to corruption, higher crime and higher taxes. Who thinks that's a smart combination? Most of these idiots are 'tear-it-all-down' types. What type of idiot would want to destroy a nation that is one of the most generous nations in history? What type of special idiot would destroy one of the most innovative, most productive nations in history? What type of special idiot thinks that a nation that exports prosperity should be destroyed? Contrary to this idiot's thinking, the anti-ICE agitators don't represent "the best of us." The anti-ICE agitators are de...

William Kelly is a paid professional agitator

Image
Based on the content in this article , I'm betting that William Kelly is a paid professional agitator. Fox News Digital reports "Anti-ICE agitators stormed Cities Church sanctuary on Sunday, causing chaos and insisting that one of the pastors is the acting director of ICE's St. Paul field office. Protesters were heard shouting 'ICE out' and 'Justice for Renee Good' in the middle of services in front of shocked churchgoers. A man with the group was identified as William Kelly, who goes by 'DaWokeFarmer' on TikTok, where he has over 66,000 followers, and regularly posts politically charged videos attacking ICE, President Donald Trump and members of his administration with profanity." The article continues, saying "A member of Christ Church in Washington, D.C., who asked to remain anonymous, told Fox News Digital that he immediately recognized Kelly as a part of a group that has been pestering worshipers on a routine basis." It's stu...

Minnesota's DFL: the party without integrity or ideas

Image
It's time for the DFL to admit that they don't have any ideas and that they don't have any integrity, either. It isn't disputable that the DFL doesn't have integrity, especially after their rioters invaded a church , then acted like this wasn't a big deal. Former CNN hack Don Lemon even tried to hide behind the Constitution: Lemon attempted to justify his actions by saying his actions are protected by the First Amendment. The first problem with that is that the church is private property. The next problem he's got is that his First Amendment right to practice journalism collides with the worshippers' right to practice their faith. Third, the invaders weren't practicing journalism. They were invading a church for the purpose of accusing the pastor he was working with ICE. When the invaders got inside the church, they started slinging sharp insults at the parishioners and the pastor. These trashtalkers talked like miniature Mayor Freys. A day after t...

Tides Foundation, George Soros Open Society funding anti-ICE riots

Image
Thanks to this reporting , we now know what I suspected all along. Alpha News is reporting that "The activists are members of radical groups that together have received millions of dollars from the left’s premier foundations and dark money networks, including George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, the Ford Foundation, the Tides Foundation, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund." This isn't surprising. George Soros' Open Society Foundation hates presidents that don't espouse open borders. Further, I know from past research that the Tides Foundation is tied to John Kerry and Theresa Heinz-Kerry, the widow of Sen. John Heinz. Sen. Heinz was to be the heir to the Heinz Katsup dynasty. Alpha also reports that "At the center of the unrest is the Sunrise Movement, a left-wing group founded to fight climate change that has since directed its local chapters to fight the Trump administration. For Sunrise Twin Cities, that means tormenting ICE agents on the ground. The group h...

Are these Jacob Frey's neighbors, Part II

Image
Earlier this morning, I wrote this article , which I titled "Are these Jacob Frey's neighbors? I titled it that way to mock Frey's dishonest insistence that the RIOTERS that are tormenting ICE agents are really protesters who were protecting their "neighbors." These rioters couldn't explain how their neighbors were from all over the world. They couldn't explain how these neighbors from every continent had gotten convicted of some of the nastiest, most violent crimes imaginable. They were just neighbors. Bill Melugin is reporting that Jacob Frey's neighbors have struck again: NEW: I’m told multiple ICE agents with rooms booked at the St. Paul Downtown Doubletree by Hilton received this notice today that their rooms are being cancelled & the hotel will temporarily close “due to heightened public safety concerns in St. Paul.” I called the hotel &… pic.twitter.com/wNGsLq0vDt — Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) January 18, 2026 I'd argue that thes...

Are these Jacob Frey's neighbors?

Image
The amazing Bill Melugin is on the ground in Minneapolis and breaking stories. Remember when Minneapolis DFL Mayor whined about unnecessary uses of force and unconstitutional actions? The DFL would like you to think that anti-ICE 'protesters' were victims. District Court Judge Menendez issued an 80-page ruling that said ICE agents had to follow the First Amendment. Some whacked-out congressional Democrats held a performative 'hearing' in Minneapolis to draw attention to ICE's brutality while whitewashing the DFL's paid rioters . Back to Bill Melugin's reporting. Thanks to Julio Rosas's fast footwork and Mr. Melugin's retweet of Rosas's video, we now know that the "anti-ICE protesters" are really rioters: Anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis made a man take off his American flag hoodie that said “Freedom”: “Take it off and you won’t get hurt!” pic.twitter.com/YmueZRICnO — Julio Rosas (@Julio_Rosas11) January 17, 2026 The Rioters' Ba...

Joe Biden's judicial legacy: from Ketanji Brown-Jackson to Kate Menendez

Image
The only thing that Antonin Scalia and Ketanji Brown-Jackson have in common is that they were both Supreme Court justices. After that, the similarities abruptly end. Joe Biden's judicial legacy isn't just Ketanji Brown-Jackson, though. Unfortunately, it extends to Kate Menendez, the district court judge who " barred federal agents in Minneapolis from arresting peaceful protesters or using nonlethal munitions and crowd control tools against them." That's like a judge ruling that, if you're planning on breathing, you're required to breathe air. Saying that ICE agents can't arrest peaceful protesters is nothing more than telling ICE agents that they must obey the First Amendment. That's a no-brainer. In a statement, DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said "The First Amendment protects speech and peaceful assembly, not rioting. DHS is taking appropriate and constitutional measures to uphold the rule of law and protect our officers and the public f...

Democrat rioters attack ICE officer

In one of his latest articles, Byron York highlights the Democrats' hubris . In the article, York quotes from a DHS-issued statement on an ICE officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis. The statement said "In an attempt to evade arrest, the subject fled the scene in his vehicle and crashed into a parked car. The subject then fled on foot. The law enforcement officer caught up to the subject on foot and attempted to apprehend him when the subject began to resist and violently assault the officer. While the subject and law enforcement were in a struggle on the ground, two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle. As the officer was being ambushed and attacked by the two individuals, the original subject got loose and began striking the officer with a shovel or broom stick. Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired a defensive shot to defend his l...

Jacob Frey's failed leadership

Image
Let's not tiptoe around Jacob Frey's failed leadership in Minneapolis. The best proof that Frey failed is the number of police officers employed by the Minneapolis Police Department, aka the MPD, today vs. during the pre-Floyd era. Before the Floyd riots, the MPD employed 900+ officers. According to David Strom's article , "After the George Floyd riots, Minneapolis lost hundreds of police officers due to resignations and even disability. The department went from over 900 officers to as few as 560." That's just part of Frey's problem as "the absolute minimum staffing level of the department is 731, but the department has been struggling to fill the slots despite a significant increase in pay in order to attract more officers." According to Alpha News, "it seems that about 17% of the Police Department wants to opt out of the whole Frey strategy." That's 1-in-6 of the MPD who want out. Further "There are even rumors, wholly unveri...

Despite anti-ICE rioters, ICE still arresting villains

Image
Despite the harassment and the DFL's semi-veiled threats, ICE keeps doing their job. Despite Jacob Frey's insistence that ICE is breaking the law and that their practices were anti-Constitution, these patriots promised to keep arresting criminal illegal aliens. Like thetraditional Trump saying goes, Promises made, Promises kept. According to Alpha News, "Democratic leaders have denigrated ICE officers with toxic rhetoric; activist groups have circulated methods to illegally interfere with ICE operations; and Minneapolis residents have destroyed law enforcement vehicles and obstructed federal agents." Gov. Tim Walz apparently has appointed himself Aronist-in-Chief . In his own words and after he'd called on Pressident Trump to "lower the temperature" with the rhetoric, Gov. Walz said "What’s happening in Minnesota right now defies belief. News reports simply don’t do justice to the level of chaos and disruption and trauma the federal government is r...

Are Ken Martin, Tim Walz & Jacob Frey insane or just evil?

Image
If you listen to DNC Chair Ken Martin, Minnesota DFL Gov. Tim Walz or Minneapolis DFL Mayor Jacob Frey long enough, it's difficult to determine whether they're totally nuts or whether they're just evil. Let's start with DNC Chair Martin. On Sunday, Martin said "In Iran, brave protestors confront a far-right theocratic regime that crushes dissent and denies basic freedom. Here at home, tens of thousands are marching after the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good — demanding justice, transparency, and an end to an unchecked federal force that takes lives and tears families apart. Solidarity across borders means opposing authoritarian power everywhere and defending the right to live free from fear and state violence." Martin should be ridiculed for comparing Iranian freedom fighters with American-born activists/agitators. The Iranian freedom fighters are fighting for freedom. In Minneapolis, ICE Watch is fighting for anarchy and against law enforcement. That's t...

Does Ilhan Omar support defunding ICE?

Image
Based on Alpha News's reporting , it sounds like Rep. Ilhan Omar wants to either defund ICE or render it ineffective. Alpha reports that "Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and nearly 100 of her House colleagues are vowing to defund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) following the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent on Jan. 7." Look Who's Silent: According to the article, the House Democrats' spineless leader is silent. Alpha reports "House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has not taken a position on funding immigration enforcement past the January deadline. On Monday, he sharply criticized the $75 billion infusion allocated to ICE in President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. No Democrats voted for the tax and spending cut package, which Trump signed into law in July 2025." That's so in-character for Jeffries. He's one of the most slimiest creatures in Washington, DC. He's consi...

Has a populist uprising started in Minnesota?

Image
Like someone lighting a match during the right conditions, a little wildfire is catching fire. In this instance, the firestarter is "Crosslake Mayor Jackson Purfeerst, who is leading the coalition." According to this Alpha News article , "In a Dec. 1 letter, eight mayors representing communities in the Brainerd Lakes Area sounded the alarm on Minnesota’s 'economic decline.' The coalition grew to 98 signatures in a Dec. 22 letter, as the signatories warned that recent property tax spikes 'stem directly from state policies, mandates and cost shifts that leave cities with no choice but to pass these burdens onto homeowners and businesses.'" Unfunded mandates shouldn't be called that. They're really hidden tax hikes, where the state tell cities, contractors or public schools what to do, then tell cities contractors and schools that they'll have to pay for the mandate themselves. This is utterly flawed in multiple ways. First, it assumes that...

Are Tim Walz, Jacob Frey trying to incite violence?

Are Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, and Jacob Frey, Minneapolis's DFL mayor, attempting to incite violence in their jurisdictions? With each passing day, I inch closer to thinking that that's what they're attempting to do. After Renee Good's death, Mayor Frey insisted that the people ICE was arresting were "neighbors" of the people of Minneapolis. I'm skeptical of that claim. How many adult men have sodomized children under the age of 13? How many of YOUR NEIGHBORS have committed homicide? How many of YOUR NEIGHBORS have raped or trafficked women? Thanks to Bill Melugin's reporting , we know that 18 people that ICE arrested fit that description: Sriudorn Phaivan, a Laotian illegal alien convicted of strong-arm sodomy of a boy & strong-arm sodomy of a girl with a deportation order since 2018. Tou Vang, a Laotian illegal alien convicted of sexual assault and sodomy of a girl under age 13 and procuring a child for prostitution with a deporta...

Unprecedented coalition of Minnesota cities continues growing

Image
A month ago, a letter signed by 98 Minnesota mayors caught people's attention for all the right reasons. That group of 98 mayors just grew to 241 mayors . Alpha News reported that "In a Dec. 1 letter, eight mayors representing communities in the Brainerd Lakes Area sounded the alarm on Minnesota’s 'economic decline.' The coalition grew to 98 signatures in a Dec. 22 letter, as the signatories warned that recent property tax spikes 'stem directly from state policies, mandates, and cost shifts that leave cities with no choice but to pass these burdens onto homeowners and businesses.'" This is a full-fledged grassroots movement. When 98 mayors signed onto the letter, the total population represented by those 98 mayors totaled 541,000 people. According to Alpha News's reporting, "According to Purfeerst, the group of 241 mayors represent ' a combined population of 1,092,189 Minnesotans ' and 'have united to call out fraud, failed economic p...

Is Ilhan Omar a professional liar?

Image
Ilhan Omar was on CBS's Face the Nation yesterday. During her interview, she said "It is just creating fear. What they are doing is creating confusion, chaos, trying to intimidate people from being able to exercise their regular normal activities that they would. There is no justification in any of the things that they say." She continued, saying "The 87 people that you’ve described as being investigated, many of them adjudicated, all happened under the Biden Administration. There is no justification for the surge. We know that ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] has the ability to conduct raids. There is no reason to have over 2,000 people coming into our city and creating the level of terror that they have created." This is BS. First, finding fraud is different than finding illegal aliens. Next, the Feeding Our Future fraud happened during the Biden administration but that's just the starting point. Next, the U.S. Attorney and his investigators star...
