Heather Abrahamson should be fired
In the video that I saw, Good's partner-in-crime (figure of speach) was taunting the ICE agent while Good parked her vehicle at an angle in the middle of the street. The ICE agent ordered her to get out of the vehicle. Instead of getting out of her vehicle, Good put the vehicle in gear and hit the agent. In what world is that intelligent? She's quoted in the article as saying that the ICE agent "wasn't in danger." The report of him suffering internal injuries suggests otherwise. The thud heard in the video suggests otherwise, too.
Heather Abrahamson apparently thinks that she's entitled to namecalling with her students. That's hubris. She should apologize to her students. Here's the tweet that started this frenzy:
First, Heather Abrahamson shouldn't belittle her students. She should be ashamed for that alone. Further, this isn't a matter of opinion. It's a matter of finding the truth. She failed miserably at that. It's that simple.BREAKING: Teacher at Becker High School (@BeckerSchools) in MN, caught ARGUING with a student over the shooting of Renee Good, falsely claiming that the ICE officer "was not in danger" while telling the student "just because you're alive doesn't mean you're intelligent."
