Minnesota's leftward lurch makes Minnesota unlivable
The more I think about it, that isn't exactly true. I wouldn't want to live in urban cesspools like Minneapolis, L.A. or San Francisco but I'm fine living in St. Cloud. Further, dealing with idiot governors like Gavin Newsom or Tim Walz is painful. Personally, I've dealt with Mark Dayton and Tim Walz the past 15 years. If you talk to well-informed Minnesotans, they'll tell you going from Dayton to Walz was a drop-off. We need a major change. Whether we get that, I don't know. I know this. Dealing with activists like Nekima Levy-Armstrong or AGs like Keith Ellison is difficult.
NBC is reporting "Homeland Security and FBI agents arrested three protesters in connection with a demonstration that interrupted Sunday service at a church in Minneapolis, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday on social media."
Then there's this additional information:
The protesters — Nekima Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Louisa Allen and William Kelly — and others involved in the demonstration objected to a pastor at Cities Church who they said works for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In other ICE news from Minneapolis, VP J.D. Vance paid a visit to the Twin Cities: During his press conferennce, Vance repeatedly expressed a desire to work with state and local law enforcement. Whether the DFL is interested is anyone's guess. I'm betting on Walz, Frey and Ellison saying that they aren't interested in cooperating. To Ellison, he's got to worry about a primary from his left if he's seen as too cooperative.
