DFL Chairman Richard Carlbom thinks that you're stupid

It was just a matter of time before the DFL trotted out its time-tested drivel about rich Republicans after Michele Tafoya jumped into the U.S. Senate race. Chairman Carlbom tweeted "Minnesotans want leaders who lower costs and protect health care, not self-interested television personalities looking to turn their support for Donald Trump into a political brand." Of course, it wouldn't be a DFL tweet if it didn't include something about "the rich." Check this out: The DFL should thank their lucky stars that the media either won't talk about Bernie Sanders and Ilhan Omar, a pair of millionaire socialists, or who will briefly mention the millionaire socialists before returning to criticizing rich Republicans. Let's be succinct about this. Carlbom is being incredibly deceptive. First, I remember when being from a wealthy Democrat family was a poaitive thing. Remember JFK's father responding to buying the White House for him? He quipped that he'd buy him the presidency but he wouldn't buy him a landslide.

It's worth noting that JFK would be criticized by Ilhan Omar, Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mamdani. JFK wouldn't recognize today's DFL. Neither would Hubert Humphrey or Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

Carlbom wasn't finished either. then his DFL tweeted this:

The truth is that Democrats hiked health insurance costs when they passed the UNAffordable Care Act. When Democrats realized that they'd hurt themselves politically by passing the UNAffordable Care Act, they passed a bill that subsidized health insurance companies, not people. Rather than fixing what they broke, Democrats did what they ALWAYS DO! They threw more money at the problem rather than fixing the problem. Now that Republicans want to fix the problem rather than treat the symptoms, Democrats have shifted to Plan B, which is blaming Republicans for not throwing good money after bad. In this speech, Amy Klobuchar said that "it is in our hands to do something about" the crisis they created:

That's wrong-headed thinking. I don't want Democrats to "do something." I insist that they fix the crisis they created. Period.
