Joe Biden's apostrophe catastrophe

Image
When Joe Biden decides to step in it, he really steps in it. While Kamala Harris was delivering the most divisive unity speech in history, Joe Biden was on a Zoom call. He didn't know it at the time but he was about to make Kamala Harris's life a living hell. During a Voto Latino get out-the-vote call, Biden said "And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico 'a floating island of garbage.' Well, let me tell you something … I don’t know the Puerto Rican that I know… or Puerto Rico where I’m – in my home state of Delaware – they’re good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters." KJP and other Biden surrogates have done their best to put out this catastrophe. Thus far, their efforts have led to a widening catastrophe. For instance, Brett Favre joined Donald Trump at a Trump-Vance rally in Green Bay. At the rally, Favre said "I can assure you, we’re not garbage. How dare he say that! Lookin...

Dissecting Kamala Harris's Closing Argument Speech

Image
Tuesday night, VP Kamala Harris gave the most divisive speech by a presidential candidate since I started voting in 1974. (That's 50 years ago for those of you in Rio Linda.) According to this transcript , her first mention of Donald Trump came in a sentence where she said "He is the person who stood at this very spot nearly four years ago and sent an armed mob to the United States Capitol to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election – an election that he knew he lost." That's an outright lie. Yes, it was roughly 4 years ago that Trump spoke at the Ellipse. That's the most accurate part of the sentence. After that, it goes downhill fast. For instance, he didn't send "an armed mob" to Capitol Hill. None of the people charged with entering Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, 2021 had a gun. None of the people convicted of their charges was charged with a gun crime. How can President Trump be guilty of sending an armed mob "to overturn the wi...

Joe Biden's Puerto Rico

Image
Last night, Joe Biden took exception to something that a comedian said while he performed at President Trump's rally at NYC's Maadison Square Garden. The comedian's name is Tony Hinchcliffe. Hinchcliffe is quoted as saying "There's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it's called Puerto Rico." Hothead Joe couldn't help himself. He replied to Hinchcliffe, saying "Donald Trump has no character. He doesn't give a damn about the Latino community; just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage? The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters." Trump replied through a tweet on Truth Social, saying "While I am running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate. Now, on top of everything, Joe Biden calls our supporters "garbage." You can’t lead America if you don’t love the Am...

Kamala Harris campaign crumbling

Image
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this article is proof that we're witnessing the slow-motion collapse of the Harris-Walz campaign. Ed opens the article by saying "Is this panic ... or is it overconfidence? Assuming it's real, of course, it might be either. Until one looks at the polls, that is." Later in the article, Ed wrote "I didn't find any report in Wisconsin media of ad pulls, for what it's worth. The polling at RCP makes an even worse case for panic or overconfidence in that state, however. Trump has a 0.5-point lead in that state, where again Harris hasn't led in a poll for a couple of weeks and Trump has a +1 edge in the last three polls to drop. The trendlines in Wisconsin are narrowly moving in Trump's direction, but not by anything dramatic enough to suddenly disappear off the air in the final days of the campaign." I can help with that. Last night on the Sean Hannity show, former RNC Chairman Reince Priebus told Sean and co...

If the Democrats win big next Tuesday

Image
It won't be a surprise to most people to learn that Democrats plan on eliminating or limiting the filibuster if they win big next Tuesday. The good news is that Democrats won't win big next Tuesday . First, it's important to know that Sen. Schumer will be the minority leader come January. Republicans will pick up a net of betwqeen 3-6 seats in the U.S. Senate next Tuesday. That's if people keep voting early in-person or via the mail and day-of voting. Republicans have shattered early voting records for the GOP since early voting started in mid-September. That being said, the GOP voters must continue to keep voting. The goal must be to come out of this election with as big of majorities in the House and Senate as possible. Growing our House majority will strengthen Mike Johnson's speakership. Further, it'll prevent Democrats from impeaching Trump a third time and from raising taxes on taxpayers in all classes. Retaking the majority in the Senate will help get T...

Elon Musk, Dark Gothic MAGA & Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally

Image
What a night it was in New York City's Madison Square Garden. Sunday night could've easily been called Donald Trump and a cast of thousands because it featured celebrities ranging from Donald Trump Jr., Eric and Lara Trump appearing together, Hulk Hogan, Tucker Carlson, Dr. Phil, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. J.D. Vance and wife Melania. The biggest spotlight, other than the one on President Trump, shined on Elon Musk. Elon was introduced by Howard Lutnick, the "chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald." Lutnick said that they'd be working together at "the Department of Government Efficiency." Shortly after taking to the microphone, Elon said "We're gonna get the government off your back and out of your pocketbook and America is not just gonna be great, America is gonna reach heights that it has never seen before." While Trump is the leader of Trumpamania, which was coined by Hulk Hogan, Elon is the self-appointed leader of "dark,...

Dan Wolgamott's infanticide crisis

Image
One of the most overlooked bills signed into law by Gov. Tim Walz, (DFL-MN), is HF91 . According to the language of the Second Engrossment of the bill, HF91 is "a bill for an act relating to health; repealing certain statutes regulating abortion; repealing certain sex offenses ... etc.) What this means is that this bill fundamentally changes how the state of Minnesota deals with abortion. Rep. Dan Wolgamott voted to remove the requirement that medical personnel; "shall" take all reasonable measures to save a baby fully outside a mother's womb. The definition of infanticide is "the act of killing an infant" or "the practice of killing newborn infants." According to the amended statute, an "infant who is born alive shall be fully recognized as a human person." On Page 15 of the bill is a section titled Concealing Birth. Originally, the bill read "Every person who shall endeavor to conceal the birth of a child by any disposition of ...

Kelly Morrison debates Tad Jude in only open House seat in Minnesota

Image
The DFL is running another cookie-cutter socialist for the open seat in MN-03. CD-3 is home to some of the richest neighborhoods in Minnesota. Almanac moderator/anchor Eric Eskola explained that "we call this a debate but it's more like a conversation, no stopwatches, no opening or closing statements, no coin flips, no short straws so let's get going." The second question asked by the moderator was "How will you vote on the tax cuts that went into effect not so long ago?" After Tad Jude said that he'd vote for extending the tax cuts, Morrison jumped in and said "We need a tax policy that works for all Minnesotans. What we don't need are tax cuts for billionaires and hedge fund managers." While that's typical DFL talking points material, it isn't that bright. What happens when tax hikes drive companies into China or other nations? How does that affect supply chains? Would a 28% corporate tax rate chase companies that are part of impo...

Elon Musk 's campaign contributions

Image
Elon Musk is intent on getting President Trump elected. If that means he has to spend tons of money, Elon's willing to do that. According to this article , Elon "plowed nearly $44 million in October into a super PAC working to restore Donald Trump to the White House – pushing the billionaire’s total donations to the group he established to benefit the former president to nearly $119 million, new campaign finance reports show." VP Harris went on a spending spree in October, spending almost $166,000,000 already this month, most of that going into "media expenses." Harris's spending has helped in the sense that she's lost ground this month. Meanwhile, "the Trump campaign" had "$99.7 million in expenditures during the same period." It's imperitive that we examine who's getting the best bang-for-the-buck. In my opinion, that's Team Trump and it isn't that close. That's because, again in my opinion, the GOP is supporting...

Kamala Harris comes unhinged

Image
It's been apparent for quite some time that VP Kamala Harris specialized in speaking in incomprehensible word salads. After Wednesday afternoon's diatribe at DC's Naval Observatory, it's obvious that she won't hesitate in saying anything to get elected. Wednesday afternoon, VP Harris took former Trump White House Chief of Staff John Kelly's quote that Trump preferred generals like Hitler's generals because Trump allegedly thought that Hitler's generals were unswervingly loyal to him. That isn't historically accurate but that's allegedly what Gen. Kelly is peddling. Howie Kurtz certainly isn't part of the Left's fever swamps. After reading Kurtz's article , it's obvious that Kurtz doesn't take Kelly's Hitler comments seriously. Kurtz wrote "Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general who lost a son in Afghanistan, said he was going public because he was disturbed by Trump’s attacks on "the enemy within," which, as ...

Tim Walz's lies, manufacturing edition

Image
Tim Walz is lying ... again. This time, Gov. Walz was fact-checked , this time by CNN (miracle of miracles, right?). First Gov. Walz told 'the ladies of the View' that "We know Donald Trump lost more manufacturing jobs than any president in American history. That’s simply factual." Daniel Dale, CNN's fact-checker, replied "It’s not factual. Facts First: Walz’s claim is false. Official statistics show that significantly more manufacturing jobs were lost during the presidencies of George W. Bush (4.54 million), George H.W. Bush (1.27 million), Dwight D. Eisenhower (1.2 million), Gerald Ford (767,000) and Ronald Reagan (582,000) than during the Trump presidency (178,000). There were also slightly more manufacturing jobs lost under President Barack Obama (195,000) than under Trump, though that was overwhelmingly because Obama inherited a steep recession." With all due respect to Dale, it's important to recall that President Trump had to deal with the Ob...

Note to GOP: it's winning time

Image
While it's true that we can't take anything for granted, it's equally true that now's the time to retriple our efforts towards winning majorities in the House and Senate while retaking the White House. A Democrat majority in either the House or Senate translates into job-killing major tax increases and energy-killing regulations. Further, a Democrat majority in the House would lead to a third meaningless impeachment of President Trump. It would also lead to endless investigations. Based on past Democrat investigations, that'd mean lengthy investigations based on hearsay but without evidence or eyewitnesses. Democrats have done it in the past. We'd have to assume the Democrats' fever swamp activists would insist on another impeachment. If the thought of continued high home heating bills, high grocery prices and more of Biden's and Harris's policies appeals to you, vote Democrat. If you want a restoration of prosperity, energy independence and reduced ...

Trafalgar Polling, InsiderAdvantage Polling brings good news to GOP

Image
Trafalgar is out with their latest statewide polling for the presidential race between President Trump and Vice President Harris and the U.S. Senate race between Democrat incumbent Bob Casey and challenger David McCormick. The results should put a smile on Republicans' faces. First, before we get to Trafalgar's polling, InsiderAdvantage's Matt Towery reported to Sean Hannity "Let me just go through a list of things, Sean, that viewers need to know. First of all, Robert (Cahaly of Trafalgar Group) and I on your show three weeks ago or so caught this shift. We said that momentum was changing. No one was talking about it then. She was still supposedly on her high. She has lost ground, and Trump is not losing any of his momentum right now." Towery continued, saying "Number two, there's good news in Georgia for Donald Trump, because that's a solid two. And I poll Georgia very tightly. And in early turnout, the more Trump areas in South Georgia and North G...

Why RFK Jr. isn't a Democrat anymore, in his own words edition

Image
Friday night, RFK Jr. ripped the bandage off. While appearing on Gutfeld!, RFK Jr. said "There's also, I think that the people these days who tend to be Republican or conservative, are much more inclined to critical thinking. And I think that used to be the purview of the Democratic Party. But you had said before that we left the Democratic Party, that Elon myself and Tulsi, I think all of us feel like the Democratic Party left us, a party of Robert Kennedy, of John. Kennedy doesn't exist anymore. " JFK, RFK, Hubert Humphrey and Daniel Patrick Moynihan likely wouldn't feel comfortable in today's Democrat Party. Christopher Hitchens wouldn't like today's Democrat Party, either, because he wouldn't tolerate today's Democrats' inclination towards censorship. Kennedy continued, saying "Today, the Democratic Party is the party of war, it's the party of censorship, it's the party of Wall Street, a big pharma, big tech, big data, big...

Forward Majority Action Minnesota's alleged lies vs. Tom Dippel

Image
According to this Alpha News article , a DFL-supporting PAC named Forward Majority Action Minnesota is accused of misleading voters in a complaint filed by Tom Dippel's campaign manager. According to the complaint, "a political action committee named Forward Majority Action Minnesota sent out a campaign mailer which made multiple claims 'about Tom Dippel’s campaign for Minnesota House.' The complaint, which contains photos of the alleged mailer, was submitted to the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board on Monday." This isn't surprising. This isn't the first time that the DFL has done something as despicable as this. Years ago, the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board ruled against the DFL for collaborating with DFL candidates for the Minnesota Senate. They fined the DFL $100,000 a year after these DFL candidates won their Senate races. IIRC, Lyle Koenen was one of the DFL politicians named in the complaint. He lost the next time he ran for re-election. Forward Maj...

Elon Musk, leader of the Dark MAGA Movement

Image
When President Trump returned to Butler, PA, he was surrounded by lots of political allies. Days before the rally, announced that he'd be the most famous political ally attending, which I wrote about here . Now, Musk is turning into an effective campaigner for Trump. He's spent most of this week campaigning in Pennsylvania for Trump. Based on Newsweek's article, I'd say that he's all-in for Trump. They reported "Elon Musk hosted his first solo event supporting Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign on Thursday, urging voters in Pennsylvania to register and cast early ballots. The event, held at Ridley High School in Folsom, featured Musk speaking for about 15 minutes in front of a large U.S. flag. Many of his supporters wore 'Make America Great Again' hats and cheered as he took the stage." Musk has changed dramatically since becoming a Trump supporter. It isn't surprising that he's passionate about the Constitution. Many naturaliz...

The state of the presidential race

Image
It's difficult to picture a presidential candidate who is more of an electoral millstone around candidates' necks than Kamala Harris. According to this article , "Harris recently campaigned in Erie, Pennsylvania, a crucial regional hub in this election cycle's most important battleground state. Conspicuously absent from that snoozefest was incumbent Sen. Bob Casey Jr. (D-Pa.). Harris tried to pass off the snub as a nothingburger, suggesting that Casey was doing the more important work of knocking on doors and getting out the vote. This doesn't pass the laugh test. Facing a spirited challenge from Republican hopeful Dave McCormick, Casey has clearly concluded that Harris' immense Bay Area lefty baggage, her history of endorsing the Green New Deal, a national fracking ban and crippling electric vehicle mandates, is an electoral albatross around his neck." Earlier this week, Pennsylvania political expert Salena Zito appeared on America's Newsroom for an i...

Kamala Harris's border security weakness

Image
When it comes to identifying her policy weaknesses, Kamala Harris has a blind spot the size of the Grand Canyon. Harris's policy blind spot is border security. It's manifested by her silence when Bret Baier asked her about the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 . According to the article, "It started when Baier, the host of Special Report on Fox News, asked Harris how many undocumented immigrants she thinks the Biden administration 'has released into the country over the last three and a half years.'" While Baier was finishing his question, Harris interrupted with the intent of shielding herself from Baier's question. She said "Bret, let's just get to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired." On Baier's first question, VP Harris wanted to immediately jump to her scripted reply about our "broken immigration system" without having to admit she helped Joe Biden break the system. The vot...

Donald Trump's confidence, Kamala Harris's frigid style

Image
Going into Wednesday, both presidential candidates had some pressure on them. Donald Trump needed a great performance to put some distance between himself and VP Harris. VP Harris looked unsettled from the outset. It went downhill after that. The first question Bret Baier asked was about illegal immigration. Less than a minute into the contentious interview, VP Harris tried cutting off Baier's question about how many illegal immigrants had illegally crossed into the U.S. She interrupted Baier, saying, "Bret, let's just cut to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired." Refusing to let Harris dictate what questions he could ask, Baier continued by asking "The Secretary of Homeland Security said that 85% of all apprehensions ... " before Harris pulled out one of her old lines. She said "I'm not finished." Actually, Baier hadn't finished his question before she tried insisting on preventing hi...

Elissa Slotkin hit hard on EV mandates in U.S. Senate debate

Image
Monday night, Rep. Elissa Slotkin made a major mistake in her debate with Former. Rep. Mike Rogers on the issue of EV mandates. Slotkin said that she didn't care what type of car people drove. She said she just wanted Michigan to build those cars. In rebuttal to Mike Rogers' answer on EVs, Slotkin said "There is no EV mandate. I don't care what you want to drive." While that's technically true, it's exceptionally misleading. According to this article , "The truth of the issue is that there is no mandate but the Biden administration did finalize emissions standards that, absent a change in the rules or some other technology being adopted, automakers could have to make sure two-thirds of all new cars sold by 2032 are zero-emission (i.e., EVs) or face hefty fines." In other words, the Biden-Harris administration didn't pass a bill explicitly requiring auto manufacturers to manufacture EVs. They did it sneakily, writing a rule that leaves the man...

National Border Patrol Council unanimously endorses Donald Trump

Image
When Donald Trump paints his opponents into a corner, they're often left looking a little sheepish. That's what he did to the Harris campaign Sunday, when he proposed an idea to the National Border Patrol Council. Specifically, President Trump proposed "he would set a goal of hiring 10,000 Border Patrol agents and 'immediately' ask Congress to give all agents a 10 percent pay raise. He also pitched a $10,000 'retention and signing bonus' for agents." Almost immediately, the Harris campaign replied, saying "Trump doesn’t care about solving problems, he only wants to run on one. That’s why he killed the bipartisan border bill that would’ve secured the border, despite the fact that it was endorsed by the Border Patrol." That's a steaming pile of BS from the Harris campaign. First, Harris is the partisan hack who criticized building Trump's wall, calling it a vanity project. Then-Sen. Harris voted multiple times against funding the buil...

Tim Walz is a bust, Part II

Image
When VP Kamala Harris picked Tim Walz, Minnesota's ultra-progressive governor, as her running mate, Democrats questioned the pick while Republicans rejoiced. Saturday, Gov. Walz went pheasant hunting. Sunday, CNN's Scott Jennings shared his thoughts on Gov. Walz's hunting trip, saying "It was a rough week, her favorability numbers are down, and they're struggling. On the front page of the New York Times this morning, Democrats are struggling with African-American voters, particularly African-American men. This gender gap is a real issue, you see Democrats reacting to it. And I think what they are coming to realize, in October, finally, is that a lot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than dudes who just want to be dudes. No hunting cosplay cringe video is going to change it, the bed is made." When first picked, Gov. Walz created quite the stir, calling Sen. J.D. Vance weird. That's quite something coming from the guy wh...

Is Barack Obama washed up?

Image
It's obvious why Barack Obama ran for president right after getting elected to the U.S. Senate. It's apparent that his soaring rhetoric had a limited shelf life. Obama went from being Mr. Hope and Change to being the Democrats' biggest scold. Thursday night in Pittsburgh, Mr. Hope and Change tried scolding black men into voting for VP Harris. It's a shame that Obama didn't build people up. His penchant was to talk trash. The truth is that Obama has just as thin of skin as Trump. It's worth studying Obama's economic policies. Obama said that "you can't drill your way to cheaper gas prices. A week later, Newt Gingrich coined the phrase of "Drill here. Drill now. Pay less." When Trump got into office, he followed the Gingrich blueprint. There wasn't a single day during Trump's administration when the average price of a gallon of gas got to $3.00. Energy was abundant. That helped lift a record number of families out of poverty. Furthe...

Tim Walz is a bust

Image
When Kamala Harris picked Tim Walz to be her running mate, the Harris campaign stated that Gov. Walz would help bolster the ticket with rural voters and in the Midwest. Republicans, including me, knew that she'd picked him over Josh Shapiro because she caved to Palestinians in Michigan. There was no way she could pick a Jew as her running mate. That'd mean she'd lose Michigan, which likely meant she'd lose the election. It turns out that Gov. Walz has been a total bust. Friday night on Almanac, Prof. David Schultz was asked to grade Gov. Walz as a running mate. Prof. Schultz gave him a C grade. That's what's called liberal grade inflation. From someone other than a proud liberal like Prof. Schultz, the best that Gov. Walz could hope for is a D-. Bearing Arms published this article on the subject. It opens, saying "When Kamala Harris tapped Tim Walz as her running mate, the conventional wisdom on the Left was that the Minnesota governor would help her campa...

Harrison Butker endorses Josh Hawley

Image
Last spring, Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker drew the rather of feminists when he talked about the virtues of stay-at-home moms. At the time, it was obvious that he wasn't advocating for women to choose this option exclusively. He was speaking at a Catholic university and he was speaking about his wife only. Fast forward to this campaign. With this being Kansas City's bye week, Butker chose to endorse Sen. Josh Hawley . In fact, Hawley "is appearing with Harrison Butker, the Kansas City Chief’s kicker, at three stops throughout the state on Thursday, including one in Parkville. Hawley has also sent two fundraising emails touting an endorsement from the Super Bowl winning kicker." Butker didn't send out some milquetoast endorsement email either. Butker didn't send out some milquetoast endorsement email endorsing Sen. Hawley either. Butker didn’t hide his Christian faith or his political and societal beliefs. Butker wrote “He’s not just a Senator;...

J.D. Vance's op-ed highlights Biden administration's incompetence

Image
Donald Trump found an eloquent-sounding pit bull to attack the Biden administration's terrible response to Hurricane Helene. His name is J.D. Vance, the author of Hillbilly Elegy. Sen. Vance didn't pull punches in his WSJ op-ed . For instance, Sen. Vance wrote "On Oct. 2, six days after the storm made landfall, the Defense Department announced that 1,000 troops had been authorized to deploy to the hurricane-response zone, including elements of the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Liberty, N.C. These troops bring with them debris-clearing and water-purification equipment—critical resources for communities with blocked roads and orders to boil drinking water. As evening fell on Friday, Oct. 4, fewer than half of the 1,000 troops were conducting operations and deployed to Western North Carolina. " That's pathetic. Businesses, churches and charities were on the ground within hours of the hurricane hitting western North Carolina. Donald Trump, the former president, imm...

J.D. Vance exposes Minnesota's abortion-at-all-costs industry

Image
J.D. Vance is finally vindicated . During last week's vice-presidential debate, Sen. J.D. Vance accused Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, of changing Minnesota's abortion laws. Gov. Walz denied that, saying "That is not the way the law is written. … [T]hat’s been misread. And it was fact-checked at the last debate. It’s not the case. It’s not true. That’s not what the law says." Rep. Harry Niska knows that Gov. Walz isn't telling the truth. Harry tweeted "In fact, @ShannonBream is 100% correct and @Tim_Walz is lying again. The law he signed was far more radical than just restoring Roe v Wade. I know because I tried to help them to “codify Roe” and they rejected my amendment." The language that was in play prior to 2023 said "A born alive infant as a result of an abortion shall be fully recognized as a human person, and accorded immediate protection under the law. All reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice, including the co...
