Is Barack Obama washed up?

It's obvious why Barack Obama ran for president right after getting elected to the U.S. Senate. It's apparent that his soaring rhetoric had a limited shelf life. Obama went from being Mr. Hope and Change to being the Democrats' biggest scold. Thursday night in Pittsburgh, Mr. Hope and Change tried scolding black men into voting for VP Harris.

It's a shame that Obama didn't build people up. His penchant was to talk trash. The truth is that Obama has just as thin of skin as Trump. It's worth studying Obama's economic policies. Obama said that "you can't drill your way to cheaper gas prices. A week later, Newt Gingrich coined the phrase of "Drill here. Drill now. Pay less." When Trump got into office, he followed the Gingrich blueprint. There wasn't a single day during Trump's administration when the average price of a gallon of gas got to $3.00. Energy was abundant. That helped lift a record number of families out of poverty. Further, Obama was famous for being the first black president. There's no disputing that that's historic but that didn't make anyone's life better. I'n this media Q & A, J. D. Vance put it perfectly:

SEN. J.D. VANCE: You know, whether you agree with me or disagree with me, whether you agree with Donald Trump or you disagree with him, I don't belief in hectoring voters. I believe in persuading voters. Your support isn't something that I'm given or owed. It's something I have to earn.
It's apparent that Barack Obama thinks that support is owed to him and that he can confer it on others. That's disgusting. Does ny policy have merit? Will it make your life better? President Reagan followed the rule that if a policy didn't make you more free, more prosperous or more secure, then it wasn't a priority to him. 'You owe the community' isn't logic. It's a guilt trip. If Obama had the best interests of the people at heart, he wouldn't need to deploy guilt trips.

The fact that Obama is using guilt trips to win votes speaks to the emptiness of his policies. Good policies make for great politicking. President Obama never learned that principle. That's why his stature is shrinking. Each election cycle, he shrinks a little mnre. He isn't washed up. He's just well down that path.

What is Kamala Harris afraid of?

Apparently, Kamala Harris suddenly loves debating. Let me rephrase that. Harris loves debating as long as the moderators are partisan hacks. She wants nothing to do with a debate moderated by Fox's Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. She's afraid of Bret and Martha because a) they'll either fact-check both her and Trump or they won't fact-check either of them and b) Bret and Martha aren't afraid of asking follow-up questions. To a candidate whose answers are scripted and who isn't quick on her feet, the last thing you want is a follow-up question. Kamala fears follow-up questions like vampires hate wooden stakes, sunlight and holy water. Why has Kamala Harris avoided Fox News like the plague? The moderators/propagandists fact-checked Donald Trump aggressively but didn't fact-check Harris . Why didn't David Muir and Linsey Davis fact-check both candidates equally? Blistering Barack's butt (bigtime)

This past weekend, Barack Obama tried spreading the blame around for Hamas's murderous rampage of Oct. 7. This blistering op-ed hints that Mr. Obama isn't the effective communicator that he once was. Obama initially insisted that "nobody's hands are clean" from the Oct. 7 Massacre. Liel Leibovitz, the Editor at large of Tablet Magazine wrote this op-ed questioning Obama's intellectual honesty. After Obama said that nobody's hands are clean, Mr. Liebovitz wrote wrote "Nah, man. Not all of us are complicit. It's just you. It's you, because you're the one who gave that stentorian speech about red lines in Syria and then sat by and did nothing as those red lines were crossed and Assad continued to slaughter his own people, allowing the Iranians and the Russians to creep in and fill the vacuum left by your devastating lack of leadership."
