Donald Trump's confidence, Kamala Harris's frigid style

Going into Wednesday, both presidential candidates had some pressure on them. Donald Trump needed a great performance to put some distance between himself and VP Harris. VP Harris looked unsettled from the outset. It went downhill after that. The first question Bret Baier asked was about illegal immigration.

Less than a minute into the contentious interview, VP Harris tried cutting off Baier's question about how many illegal immigrants had illegally crossed into the U.S. She interrupted Baier, saying, "Bret, let's just cut to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired."

Refusing to let Harris dictate what questions he could ask, Baier continued by asking "The Secretary of Homeland Security said that 85% of all apprehensions ... " before Harris pulled out one of her old lines. She said "I'm not finished."

Actually, Baier hadn't finished his question before she tried insisting on preventing him from asking his question. Her job is to answer his questions. By not letting her interrupt him from asking his question, Baier prevented her from dominating the interview. This is Sky News Australia's report on the interview:

Compare that with Harris Faulkner's take on Donald Trump's replies to the people's questions:

Trump was relaxed. That helped him answer the women's questions with specificity. He didn't filibuster. He answered their questions. By comparison, Harris tried filibustering Bret Baier's question. That's because he's comfoprtaable answering whatever question reporters or people throw at him. It's obvious that Harris is trained in answering scripted questions. Trump looks natural. Harris looks frigid. What a difference confidence and practice makes.

I don't want another scripted president. I want a president that's quick on his/her feet and who is sure-footed with his/her answers. VP Harris isn't sure-footed in a public setting. Trump is. It's just that simple.

Kamala Harris isn't honest. In this clip, she vehemently and dishonestly insists that Trump wants to turn the U.S. military on the U.S. people:

It's about 4:30 into the clip when she makes this dishonest accusation. If she doesn't produce the footage that supports that accusation, she should permanently branded as a liar. Harris insists that we "turn the page." I agree as long as she's talking about defeating her this Nov. 5 and sending her back to California for the rest of her life.x
