Michele Tafoya's Hall of Fame endorsement

It's clear that Michele Tafoya is THE RISING STAR in the Republican Party of Minnesota. Further, it's obvious that it won't take long for Tafoya to overtake Sen. Klobuchar as THE STAR in Minnesota politics. According to this article, "Tony Dungy is backing Michele Tafoya in Minnesota’s Senate race, but he has no plans to enter politics himself. Less than two weeks after telling Sage Steele, 'I don’t think there’s a chance. But never say never,' Dungy’s endorsement became part of Tafoya’s campaign as the November 3 election approaches." According to this tweet, Michele Tafoya said "Tony Dungy is a man of integrity I’ve known for over 30 years, a Hall of Fame coach and Super Bowl champion who got his start right here in Minnesota. I’m honored to have him on our team in this election. Join our team next Tuesday, November 3rd, and let’s bring hope back to Minnesota!"

Most endorsements don't get noticed. Either that or they have little effect. Tony Dungy's endorsement is A BIG DEAL! First, he isn't a politician or actor. He's just your ordinary NFL Hall of Fame football coach. He's also a man of impeccable character. In pro football, it's easy to find people with the character of a Bill Bellichick. It's virtually impossible to find men with Tony Dungy's character. If I'm part of Team Tafoya, which I proudly am, this is a big deal:

This isn't AS BIG A DEAL but it isn't nothing, either: This is who Tony Dungy is as a man:

A man of this character, a nonpolitician, just endorsed a woman who isn't a politician. That's EXACTLY what Minneaota needs in DC!

Minnesota loses another major business opportunity

If I wsa advising Lisa Demuth's campaign, one of the first things I'd do at Friday night's debate is highlight how "a Minnesota-based company belonging to the Indian conglomerate Essar Group" is building "a major steel plant" in "southeast Iowa's Lee County." According to this Iowa Public Radio article , "President Donald Trump on Monday announced an $18 billion investment in a fully integrated American steel system, including a major steel plant coming to southeast Iowa's Lee County. The $15 billion plant will be built by Mesabi Metallics, a Minnesota-based company belonging to the Indian conglomerate Essar Group. The other $3 billion will help complete Mesabi’s new mine in Minnesota’s Iron Range, which will supply iron ore to the Iowa steel plant. Gov.
