UPenn admits it violated Title IX

Image
The Trump administration scored a major victory Tuesday when it reached agreement with the University of Pennsylvania, aka UPenn, that UPenn " has entered into a Resolution Agreement to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972." According to the Department of Education's statement, "the Department’s Office for Civil Rights’ (OCR’s) investigation that found UPenn violated Title IX by allowing a male to compete in female athletic programs and occupy female-only intimate facilities." That's a big admission. UPenn admitted that they'd violated Title IX when UPenn let Will Thomas , aka Lia Thomas, compete as a female. I'm not a legal expert but I don't see why the DOJ couldn't use that admission in their lawsuit against the state of Minnesota and the Minnesota State High School League, aka the MSHSL in their lawsuit involving the transgender softball player. U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon is quoted as saying "Tod...

Professional perverts invade Minnesota's Department of Education

Image
It was inevitable that professional perverts would invade Minnesota's Department of Education. Alpha News is reporting that the progfessional perverts have infiltrated Minnesota's Department of Education. The article quotes documents from Minnesota's Department of Education as saying "Under the draft standards, third graders would be asked to 'Define gender identity and expression' and 'Describe internal and external reproductive body parts using medically accurate terms in a gender-neutral way.'" What 8-year-old knows what gender identity or gender expression is? How many 8-year-olds could describe "internal and external reproductive body parts using medically accurate terms in a gender-neutral way ?" That's why Minnesota needs serious educational leadership at MDE. In fact, MDE needs to be gutted, then restarted from scratch. The people putting these standards are described as "a group that includes parents, students, teachers...

Zohran Mamdani vs. John Catsimatidis, groceries edition

Image
John Catsimatidis has forgotten more about grocery stores than Zohran Mamdani will ever know. Period. Full Stop. That's because Mr. Catsimatidis is "the owner of Gristedes and D’Agostino’s, this city’s oldest and largest independent supermarket chains." Yesterday, Mr. Catsimatidis wrote this op-ed for the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Catsimatidis opened his op-ed by saying "As owner of Gristedes and D’Agostino’s, this city’s oldest and largest independent supermarket chains, I’ve spent my life keeping shelves stocked, workers employed and families fed. That’s what capitalism does. It works. It builds. It feeds. And it empowers. " Mr. Catsimatidis is right. It does all those things. If I were to offer a minor quibble to Mr. Catsimatidis' op-ed, I'd add that it builds generational wealth while improving families' standard of living. It didn't take Mr. Catsimatidis long to criticize Mr. Mamdani. In the second paragraph of his op-ed, Mr. Catsimatidis w...
