DFL takes another step towards DFL Mob Rule
It's utterly apparent that DFL metro mayors don't care about the U.S. Constitution or the landmark rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court. It's apparent because KARE11 is reporting that "Nine mayors from some of Minnesota's largest cities stood together inside the Capitol on Tuesday asking state legislators to either ban assault weapons statewide, or repeal a 1985 law that prevents cities from regulating firearms at the local level. First, assault weapons bans are unconstitutional. This paragraph explains the underlying principal behind banning certain categories of weapons. It says "The handgun ban and the trigger-lock requirement (as applied to self-defense) violate the Second Amendment. The District’s total ban on handgun possession in the home amounts to a prohibition on an entire class of “arms” that Americans overwhelmingly choose for the lawful purpose of self-defense.
