Joe Biden, pro-Palestinian protesters are racists, antisemites

Image
If people tell me that Joe Biden isn't the biggest whopper-telling commander-in-chief, I don't believe it.  If that's what they tell me, I'd quickly ask them if they're a delegate for the DNC in Chicago this August. Joe Biden often has portrayed himself as a civil rights hero but the truth is that he's a civil rights blowhard. Joe Biden is betraying Jewish voters. There was a time when Jewish voters were legitimate civil rights leaders. It isn't difficult to find examples like Alan Dershowitz marching with African-American civil rights leaders. Because of their strong moral compass, they meshed quite nicely. That hasn't stopped Biden from telling whoppers like this : Biden told Stern: "She said, ‘Joey, let me — remember’ — true story, she said — 'Remember when they were desegregating Lynnfield, the neighborhood … suburbia — and I told you — and there was a Black family moving in and there was — people were down there protesting; I told you not t

Questioning Joe Biden's "ironclad support" of Israel

Image
Apparently, Joe Biden enjoys preventing our closest allies from defeating terrorists. In this instance, I'm referring to Biden preventing Israel from defeating Hamas. Sunday afternoon, Biden spoke with Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the White House readout of the call, "reaffirmed his ironclad commitment to Israel’s security following the successful defense against Iran’s unprecedented missile and drone attack earlier this month. They also reviewed ongoing talks to secure the release of hostages together with an immediate ceasefire in Gaza." That's Bidenspeak for saying Joe Biden won't let Israel defeat Hamas. Most Middle East experts have said that not eliminating Hamas is a victory for Hamas. That's because Hamas lives to fight another day. That's a defeat for Israel. Why isn’t Biden interested in defeating terrorists? Why wasn’t Biden interested in defeating Putin when Putin invaded Ukraine? It’s almost as if Mr. Biden isn’t interested in winning. Bi

State DFL Chair Ken Martin defends Nicole Mitchell

Image
The DFL is quickly turning into the Party of Thuggish Behavior. This morning on At Issue, DFL State Party Chair Ken Martin defended disgraced DFL State Sen. Nicole Mitchell, saying that she should still be able to vote on important pieces of legislation while Sen. Mitchell's tawdry episode plays out in the judicial system. That's a pile of BS. If a mid-level manager at a company was accused of doing the things that Mitchell has admitted to, that manager would, at minimum, be suspended with pay. At most, that manager might get terminated. Martin's arguments are what I'd expect from him. He's a partisan hack. I wrote this article yesterday to give readers what the Detroit Lakes police reported. In the article, they said "Officers found Mitchell, a first-term senator from Woodbury, in the basement of her stepmother's Detroit Lakes house. Mitchell was dressed in black and admitted to entering her stepmother's house through a sliding basement window , accor

Nicole Mitchell MUST resign

Image
I'd wanted to avoid wading into State Sen. Nicole Michell's allegedly burglary at her step-mother's home in Detroit Lakes but it's impossible to after the ridiculous statements last night by Abou Amara and former State Sen. Jeffrey Hayden during last night's Almanac Roundtable discussion. First, for those who aren't familiar with what's in the police report that police filled out after Mitchell's stepmother called 9-1-1, here's what the Strib is reporting : Officers found Mitchell, a first-term senator from Woodbury, in the basement of her stepmother's Detroit Lakes house. Mitchell was dressed in black and admitted to entering her stepmother's house through a sliding basement window, according to the criminal complaint. Police said they found a flashlight covered with a black sock — dimming its brightness — near Mitchell, and a backpack wedged in the open basement window. That backpack contained several items, including a laptop that the crim

Mike Johnson, a Speaker to be proud of

Image
Mike Johnson took a small group of New York Republicans to Columbia University to talk with Jewish students there. This was both a fact-finding mission and a trip meant to show support for these students. After the private conversation with students, the delegation held a brief press conference. While I'm not surprised with their article, I'm more than a little disappointed that Axios is reporting that "Johnson and Reps. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Anthony D'Esposito (R-NY) and Mike Lawler (R-NY) were booed and heckled for nearly the entire 18 minutes of their press conference on the steps of Columbia's Low Library." Frankly, I'd be upset if the pro-Hamas agitators/hecklers hadn't heckled Speaker Johnson's delegation. I don't want the approval of these professional agitators and terrorist sympathizers. The Democrats House Democrats rolled out the red carpet to greet their colleagues. House Democrats rolled out the red carp

Nancy Pelosi's Brainwashed Brigade

Image
It isn't surprising that Nancy Pelosi thinks the American people are stupid when it comes to policy. It isn't surprising because that's the Democrats' base. It's breathtaking that Pelosi can look at the situation in the Middle East and think that the 2-state solution is a legitimate solution. According to the Washington Free Beacon, Pelosi thinks that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is the chief impediment to peace in the Middle East . The WFB article opens by saying "Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) this week demanded Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu resign for his 'terrible' response to Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel, calling the Israeli leader an 'obstacle' to peace." That's frightening. Once upon a time, the U.S.'s political leaders cared about doing the right thing. Today, Democrats want to do whatever will get them elected. DC's Democrats don't care about doing the right thing. DC's Democrats want p

Chuck Schumer's disappearing act

Image
Sen. Chuck Schumer is virtually impossible to figure out, especially when it comes to Israel. This past Sunday, Sen. Schumer issued this timid statement about the raging antisemitism on college campuses. In his statement, Sen. Schumer said "College campuses must be places of learning and discussion. Every American has a right to protest, but when protests shift to antisemitism, verbal abuse, intimidation, or glorification of Oct. 7 violence against Jewish people, that crosses the line. Campuses must remain safe for all students." It doesn't get much more timid than that. He's the senior senator from NY and this is his best? Where's his call for Gov. Hochul to deploy the state troopers and national guard to protect Jewish students? Where's his expression of outrage against the pro-Hamas activists? This isn't a grassroots movement. Let's get serious. With all of these professionally-made signs and the expensive tents that popped up virtually overnight,

Donald Trump defends Mike Johnson

Image
Finally, Republicans have found someone who understands negotiating positions. Not surprisingly, his name is Donald Trump. During a talk radio interview with host John Fredericks, Trump defended Mike Johnson , saying "Well, look, we have a majority of one, OK? It’s not like he can go and do whatever he wants to do. I think he’s a very good person. You know, he stood very strongly with me on NATO when I said NATO has to pay up … I think he’s trying very hard." Trump continued by praising Johnson for securing part of the aid for Ukraine in the form of forgivable loans." Then Trump returned to familiar territory, where "he repeated his calls for Europe to 'pay up.'" Marjorie Taylor-Greene needed that slap-down because she isn't a team player. Whining that there wasn't anything in the aid package for border security is juvenile. When you have a pro-open borders president of the opposite party and a pro-open borders Democrat as Senate Majority Leade

Robert Kraft, Alan Dershowitz have spines, Joe Biden doesn't

Image
I've sometimes wondered what it'd be like if Joe Biden had a titanium spine like Michele Bachmann used to talk about when she was my congresswoman. Eventually, I realized that Biden still would be missing a brain. Still, I wish Joe had a spine, especially after reading this article . The article opens by saying "A growing number of leaders and organizations have called on Columbia University and its president to protect students amid reports of antisemitic and offensive statements and actions on and near its campus, which has been the site this week of a pro-Palestinian encampment and protest ." No-Go Zone? Is Columbia University's campus becoming a no-go zone? It's apparent that seccurity on Columbia's campus isn't what it should be. It's obvious because they've switched to remote learning: Early Monday, Columbia President Nemat 'Minouche' Shafik said that classes would be held virtually Monday and that school leaders would be coming t

Has Joe Biden already lost Pennsylvania?

Image
Salena Zito frequently writes about life in the Rust Belt and the industrial Upper Midwest. Salena's latest report highlights how out-of-touch he is with Pennsylvania. For instance, Salena wrote "However, there is a lot more unpacking to do with this imagery, beginning with the other 900 unemployed steelworkers not invited to the event who just lost their jobs at the steelmaking tinplate mill 30 miles up the river. These jobs were lost thanks, at least arguably, to a decision from the U.S. International Trade Commission not to tax tin from several countries, including China. So, at the same time Biden was bragging about taxing China’s steel, 900 men and women who loved their jobs, loved working locally, and loved making a decent wage were at a job fair at the local community center." It's obvious that Biden isn't able to interact fluidly with people. It's indisputable that Biden's handlers are setting him up to fail. They might not know that but that'

Joe Biden's Palestinian crisis

Image
When Hamas first attacked Israel during the Oct. 7 Massacre, Biden said he stood steadfastly with Israel. Anyone with an understanding of Biden knew that Biden position wouldn't last. He's an Arabist. Actually, he's more of a Persian (think Iran). After all of his pandering to Palestinian voters, he's still in hot water with the Dearborn Palestinians. NBC News opened its reporting by saying "'Outraged,' 'point of no return" and 'absolute disaster' are how some Muslim American organizers have described their reactions to an aid package for Israel that is making its way through Congress for President Joe Biden to sign into law." Like I said, that's difficult to hear after spending 2+ months pandering to the Palestinians. Now that it appears as though Palestinians are rejecting Biden's overtures, he's in a pickle. How can Biden do a 180 and tell Jewish voters that he's had an "ironclad" relationship with PM Neta

Open letter to Rep. Rashida Tlaib

Image
Rep. Tlaib, I just checked your Twitter account to see what you've posted recently. I wanted to see if you'd posted anything incendiary or dishonest. It didn't take long to find this dishonest post . In that tweet, you wrote "Our country isn’t just complicit in this genocide—we’re actively participating in it. This week, my colleagues want to vote to send over $26B more of our tax dollars to Netanyahu as he carries out the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza." That's rather interesting since Israel isn't involved in genocide. If you're going to post provocative things like that, I'd say that's irresponsible (that's being diplomatic) to say things that you haven't provided proof of. After all, you're supposed to live up to the title of member of Congress. This is the tweet I referred to earlier: Our country isn’t just complicit in this genocide—we’re actively participating in it. This week, my colleagues want to vote to send over $26B

What is Israel's next move against Iran?

Image
Thursday night, Israel launched the first phase of what's seen as their retaliatory fight against Iran. In doing so, they exhibited their superiority over Iran's defense systems. CBS is reporting that "Two U.S. officials told CBS News on Thursday night that an Israeli missile had struck Iran. The strike came less than a week after Iran's unprecedented retaliatory drone and missile attack on Israel, to which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had vowed to respond." Iran downplays missile strike Iran's state-run IRNA news agency said air defense batteries fired across several provinces, but it didn't elaborate on why the batteries had fired. Iranians did report hearing the sound of explosions in several locations, but there was no urgent meeting called of Iran's ruling High National Council, state television said, and it appeared the Iranian government was trying to downplay the impact of the Israeli attack. State media and Iranian sources speaking with

Israel attacks Iran, what it means

Image
Bonchie, one of RedState's featured writers, reported earlier tonight that Israel has attacked Iran against the Biden administration's wishes. In fact, Bonchie embedded this tweet in his article: https://publish.twitter.com/?query=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FIranIntl_En%2Fstatus%2F1781091100326871414&widget=Tweet Further, CNN is reporting "Israel had told the US on Thursday it would be retaliating against Iran in the coming days, a senior US official said. 'We didn't endorse the response,' the official said." What we know : Israel carried out a limited military strike against Iran and is assessing its effectiveness and the damage it caused, a source familiar with the situation told NBC News. Iranian state media reports that air defense systems were engaged in several provinces and that nuclear sites in Isfahan, in central Iran, are safe. Meanwhile, the state media appeared to downplay the impact of a possible Israeli strike in the country. Secretary

Another one bites the dust, Mayorkas impeachment edition

Image
Wednesday afternoon, Chuck Schumer likely sent 3 (or more) Democrat senators to their electoral defeat when he made 51 Democrat senators vote in lockstep to not hold a trial based on the evidence House impeachment managers compiled during their investigation into Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Sen. Schumer took to the Senate floor Wednesday and said that it wasn't a high crime or misdemeanor when Secretary Mayorkas intentionally and willingly ignored the properly enacted laws. He called it a policy dispute. That's world class spin. That isn't a policy dispute. In every city other than Washington, DC or NYC, that's called a crime. Now that the trial has been improperly eliminated, it's time for John Q. Public to torment these senators for thumbing their nose at the Constitution. Sen. Schumer knows that Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden have frequently and intentionally rewritten immigration laws. Now that the trial has been disposed of, I hope

Joe Biden's moment of truth

Image
If ever there was a time when leadership and integrity was required from our president, it's now. It's sad for me to admit that, rather than having a president filled with integrity and who is a consummate leader, we're momentarily stuck with Joe Biden. It isn't coincidental that the U.S. is going through some of our most difficult times other than the Civil War and the assassinations of JFK, RFK and MLK Jr. Mr. Biden's staff apparently aren't interested in the truth. Instead, they wrote this ill-advised op-ed in Joe Biden's name. The opening paragraph in the op-ed written by Biden's staff says "Iran launched an unprecedented attack against Israel this weekend, with a barrage of missiles and drones. Around the same time, some 1,500 miles north, Russia continued its bombardment of Ukraine, which has intensified dramatically in the last month." When the history books are written, Biden will be compared with Neville Chamberlain. Biden and Chamber

Convicting Alejandro Mayorkas, Dan Goldman vs. John Kennedy edition

Image
If there's anyone who makes my blood boil more than Sen. Schumer, it's Rep. Dan Goldman, (D-NY). When I saw that he'd written this op-ed for MSNBC , I had to write a reply to his propaganda. I was surprised to see that the opening paragraph of his op-ed contained 2 truthful statements, followed by a truthful but misleading statement. It said "Democracy is under attack at home and abroad. On Saturday, the antidemocratic regime in Iran launched more than 300 missiles and drones at our democratic ally, Israel, while Russia simultaneously sent the same Iranian-designed drones into Ukraine. On Monday, Donald Trump became the first former president to go to trial as a criminal defendant." I'd just add that Goldman should remind Joe Biden that Israel is an ally and deserves to be treated that way. With Biden on Israel, it's 1 step forward, 1 stab in the back and a week of humiliation from the U.S. That isn't how allies should be treated. The final sentence of

Question: should A15 be designated as a terrorist organization?

Image
A15, the organization allegedly behind Monday's coordinated blockage of the Golden Gate Bridge, O'Hare Airport and other transportation "choke points" posted something on their website that said "The global economy is complicit in genocide. Join participating cities in blocking the arteries of capitalism and jamming the wheels of production." Then it continued, saying "A proposal to coordinate a multi-city economic blockade on April 15th in solidarity with Palestine recently received overwhelming commitments to participate around the US and internationally." The organization produced this Youtube manifesto: That sounds quite a bit like what a terrorist organization might do, doesn't it? It definitely doesn't sound like a bunch of rag-tag protesters. Still aren't convinced? Check this out: There is a sense in the streets in this recent and unprecedented movement for Palestine that escalation has become necessary: there is a need to shif

Joe Biden's 'Don't Doctrine'

Image
John Kirby, Joe Biden's National Security Communications Advisor, had a difficult day Monday, dealing with Peter Doocy. Doocy questioned him about Biden's policy of telling foreign adversaries "Don't" right before these adversaries ignore Biden and they attack. Kirby did his best to spin this episode as insignificant, saying that Biden said "Don't" on Friday, only to have Iran invade Israel Saturday night. This is how Kirby tried spinning it: DOOCY TIME: “John, has President Biden considered maybe beefing up the public Iran posture to be more than just one word?” WH’s John Kirby: “You — you’re referring to, ‘don't’?” Doocy: “Yeah.” Kirby: “And so, let's —” Doocy: “Because he said —” Kirby: “— talk about —”… pic.twitter.com/KufejLZFnX — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) April 15, 2024 This isn't an act of deterrence. The definition of deterrence is "to discourage or restrain from acting or proceeding" or "to prevent; check; arr

Anti-Israel protesters shut down Golden Gate Bridge, O'Hare Airport, Wall Street

Image
NBC News is reporting that anti-Israel protesters shut down San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge for more than 5 hours on Monday. CNN is reporting that "More than 150 people were arrested or taken into custody across the US Monday as pro-Palestinian protesters blocked roads and one of the country’s most famous bridges. In places from San Francisco and Seattle to Chicago and the East Coast cities of Miami and New York , demonstrators disrupted traffic,  including during rush hour,  and blocked travelers from getting to major airports to protest the US supporting Israel in the war in Gaza." These disruptions were well-coordinated, well-funded and highly effective. If I had to guess, I'd bet that we'll see more disruptions in the near future through the Republicans' and Democrats' conventions through Election Day. These protests are currently aimed at Democrats because these terrorist sympathizers are hoping to affect Biden administration policy towards Israe

Economies of plenty vs. economies of just barely enough, Trump vs. Biden edition

Image
It isn't a stretch to think of the Trump economy as 'the economy of plenty.' I wouldn't disagree with people who's characterize Bidenomics/Bidenflation as the 'economy of just enough.' What's the difference, you ask? I'm glad you asked. The answer is found in this article . It opens by saying "When oil prices jumped above US$90 a barrel just days ago, military tensions between Israel and Iran were the immediate trigger. But the rally’s foundations went deeper — to global supply shocks that are intensifying fears of a commodity-driven inflation resurgence." Until recently, Biden bragged that oil production hit new records during his administration. According to the Energy Information Administration, the record was hit by producing 13,300,000 BPD (Barrels Per Day) in 2023. The thing is that we were producing 13,200,000 BPD in 2019. Technically, Biden is right. However, energy experts expected production to increase to at least 17,000,000 BPD

Highlighting the Biden Doctrine's principles

Image
There's finally a definition for the Biden Doctrine. It isn't easy to define because he's a total scatterbrain. This past Saturday, Biden said that his administration's relationship with Israel was "ironclad." Then Biden told Israeli PM Netanyahu that "the United States would not support an Israeli counterattack against Iran." Apparently, that's the Biden Doctrine. The Biden Doctrine apparently means that the U.S. will help nations that get attacked by state sponsors of terrorism or hostile expansionist regimes defend themselves but it won't let the attacked nations defeat the nation that initially attacked. With Biden as Wimp-in-Chief, the best an attacked nation can hope for is lengthy draw that takes years to accomplish. Ukraine is a perfect example of that. Russia attacked Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022. That war is still ongoing with victory nowhere in sight for either nation. Don't you just love these 20-years wars? When Hamas attacked I

Joe Biden's Iran lid highlights Biden's missing leadership

Image
After Joe Biden spoke via phone with Israeli PM Netanyahu, to "condemn Iran's attacks in the strongest possible terms and reaffirm America’s ironclad commitment to the security of Israel." Attached to Biden's official tweet was Biden's' official statement. In Biden's official statement, one of his senior staffers wrote that "Iran launched an unprecedented air attack against military facilities in Israel." Biden then said that he "condemned the attacks in the strongest terms possible." Check out Biden's statement and tweet: I condemn Iran's attacks in the strongest possible terms and reaffirm America’s ironclad commitment to the security of Israel. My full statement on Iran’s attacks against Israel: pic.twitter.com/EuPJZoGw6w — President Biden (@POTUS) April 14, 2024 Notice that the statement is a JPEG photo, not a document. Joe Biden's policies incite Iran war with Israel

Image
For the first time in history, Iran has fired missiles from Iran into Israel. In the past, Iran used its proxies to hide behind their attacks on Israel. Saturday, Iran ripped that mask away. Iran launched their attack with Israel by sending drones and missiles from Iran's mainland to Israel. The WSJ reported "Iran launched a wave of more than 300 drones and cruise and ballistic missiles toward Israel, setting up a direct military confrontation between the two nations and raising the risks of wider regional war." This is Joe Biden's war! If Biden hadn't implemented an appeasement strategy with Iran and Russia, it's possible that Israel wouldn't find itself in this Biden-created predicament. It isn't just Biden that's put Israel in this position. SecState Blinken just said "Israel could become 'indistinguishable' from Hamas if it does not adequately protect Gazan civilians from harm." The thought that the Biden administration can

Is Joe Biden lying about Trump's tax cuts for the rich?

Image
This past week, Joe Biden insisted that Trump's tax cuts helped only the rich. Considering the fact that Biden is dishonest as hell and economically illiterate, I won't accept Biden's opinions as fact. I especially won't accept Biden's statements as facts when I recall the series of articles Guy Benson wrote right around the passage and signage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It took some digging in the archives to find the articles but I finally found them. This is the first article I found in 'the Benson collection.' It opens by saying "We've been having some fun at the expense of Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party's literally apocalyptic hyperbole and rhetorical overreach about the new tax reform law, showcasing examples of businesses large and small that are celebrating passage of the landmark legislation by paying out employee bonuses, raising wages, expanding, and making charitable investments." Thanks to the MSM's misinforma

Joe Biden's Bidenflation outright lie

Image
It's time Republicans stopped talking about Joe Biden's gaffes. What he's doing isn't committing gaffe-after-gaffe. Far too often, Biden's just lying. After the monthly CPI report came out, he said "Look, we have dramatically reduced inflation from 9% down to close to 3%. We’re in a situation where we’re better situated than we were when we took office where we — inflation was skyrocketing." Fox is reporting that "according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, inflation was recorded at just 1.4% in January 2021 when Biden took office. It remained below 3% until April 2021, when it surged 4.2% and continued increasing until it hit a 40-year high of 9.1%." Further, the average price for a gallon of gasoline nationwide was $2.39. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy was growing at a 6.5% annualized rate when Trump left. All Biden had to do was keep Trump's policies intact. Instead of keeping what was working intact, Biden blew it up with the American Re
