Mall of America terrorist threat thwarted by FBI

This Alpha News article reports that the FBI thwarted an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack on the Mall of America. According to U.S. Attorney for Minnesota Dan Rosen, "Mohamud has been charged with acquiring an AK-47 assault rifle and 200 rounds of ammunition in order to commit a federal crime of terrorism, including attempting to provide material support to ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization." According to the article, "[Sheikhdoon Abdullahi] Mohamud is an American citizen who was born in the United States, but he referred to Somalia as the homeland of his parents, according to Rosen." This part reveals why U.S. patriots of all nationalities need to be vigilant:
FBI Special Agent in Charge Chris Dotson said Mohamud described himself as "100 percent committed" to what Dotson called "his planned jihad journey." Mohamud met with someone he believed to be a loyal member of ISIS on Tuesday to purchase an AK-47 rifle, Dotson explained.

"Over the course of this investigation, Mohamud repeatedly expressed support of foreign terrorist organizations. Because he felt like he could not travel abroad to fight for these organizations, he instead expressed his intent to commit a terrorist-inspired attack here in the United States, in Minnesota," Dotson said.

"The messages this defendant allegedly sent to others were chilling," added Dotson, who said Mohamud pledged his allegiance to ISIS leaders and claimed to join the terrorist organization over a year ago.

While this thwarted terrorist attack didn't happen and people's lives were saved, there was a starting point. I wrote about it in this article. In one of her official statements:
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) issued the statement below on the extension and re-designation of Somalia for Temporary Protected Status (TPS):

"Minnesota is home to the largest Somali community in the country and has a tradition of opening its doors to immigrants from all over the world. I welcome this re-designation of Somalia for TPS, which will allow Somali people in Minnesota and across the United States to continue living, working, and succeeding in our country. As an early supporter of the legislation to provide these immigrants with a pathway to citizenship, I will continue to fight for reform to our immigration system."

In this statement, it's exceptionally obvious that Sen. Klobuchar supports bringing Somasli refugees to Minnesota. Further, it's obvious that she supports giving Somalis a "pathway to citizenship". Without Sen. Klobuchar's Somali-to-Minnesota pipeline, this arrest and the Eden Prairie High School Homecoming Game shootout likely wouldn't have happened.

According to an affidavit unsealed on Wednesday, FBI agents arrested 18-year-old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud on Tuesday directly after he purchased an AK-47, 200 rounds of ammunition and four 30-round magazines from an informant with the stated intent of carrying out a mass shooting.

The criminal complaint alleges Mohamud had messaged an informant for nearly two years, discussing his hatred of non-Muslims and his desire to align with an Islamic terror group. He floated the idea of joining al Qaeda and al Shabaab before deciding to lend his support to the Islamic State.

What type of drugs is Sen. Klobuchar taking? Why would she say "Minnesota is home to the largest Somali community in the country and has a tradition of opening its doors to immigrants from all over the world. I welcome this re-designation of Somalia for TPS, which will allow Somali people in Minnesota and across the United States to continue living, working, and succeeding in our country?" Sen. Klobuchar used to be a prosecutor. As a politician, though, she isn't trustworthy. Why trust a politician who wants to bring in foreigners who haven't been properly screened?
