Latest DFL talking point created

In this article, I quoted Geny Villoa as saying "It is sad to see some people trying to divide us when we should be coming together." It's noteworthy that Villoa is from Somalia, where they've been fighting a civil war since the early 1990s. The last thing I'll do is take advice from a man whose home nation has been fighting a civil war for 35+ years. It's also noteworthy from a political standpoint that "Clergy from across faiths stood together inside a Saint Paul church to condemn a recent social media post by President Donald Trump." Actually, that's more than a little misleading. While it's true that clergy from many denominations are calling for religious people to speak out against Preident Trump, they don't say people of faith are supposed to unite around.

Should we unite around the Christian Bible? Should we unite around Christ's Gospels? Should we unite arounnd Paul's letters to the churches he started in Syria, Greece, Iraq and Europe?

I'm betting that these 'clergy' want people to unite against President Trump rather thnn unite around Paul's letters or the 4 Gospels. This is a political unification, not a Christian or Jewish unification. That's sacrilege, not uniting for a great spiritual good.

Faith leaders say this type of rhetoric is both reckless and dangerous and could have terrible consequences. "Instead of bringing Minnesotans together to find solutions President Trump chose to make sweeping accusations against my Somali American community and telling people to fight back. Fight back against whom. What exactly is the president asking people to do," said Imam Abdulahi Farah.

Farah is a member of Dar-Al Farooq, a mosque in Bloomington that was bombed in 2017. The Department of Justice determined it was an act of domestic terrorism rooted in hatred. Farah said he knows firsthand the consequences of spreading hate.

That's rich coming from the party that impeached President Trump twice for actions that weren't crimes and didn't meet the Constitution's standard for impeachment. That's rich coming from the party that's tried assassinating President Trump 3 times thus far. The DFL, aka these 'clergy', didn't try coming together this time:

Where are the Democrats' standards for decency? Did the DFL/DSA/DNC abandon all standards of decency? This is just the most recent DFL political trick. Actually, it's a retread chanting point. Dan Wolgamott used a similar line 6-8 years age. It's a nice line. When the DFL says it, though, it's just BS.
