St. Cloud Tech treats the symptom, doesn't fix the gang violence crisis

A week after i<>Somali gangs ruined the Eden Prairie High School Homecoming Game, St. Cloud Tech High School tried spinning their way out of their decision to not fix the Somali gang violence problem. To be fair, there was a threat posted on social media, though it didn't say anything about who the threat came from, though that's often an indicator by itself. This KSTP article reports that "St. Cloud Tech High School is adding new game security after a threat raised concerns ahead of homecoming. The school used metal detectors, bag checks, and had a highly visible police presence at its homecoming football game Friday afternoon. The district also moved kickoff to 4:30 p.m. and required people to leave promptly after the game. It was exactly one week ago that gunfire shut down Eden Prairie High School’s homecoming football game— and forced the evacuation of hundreds of people."

To be fair, this is a multi-faceted problem. What law enforcement did Friday afternoon was deal with a short-term situation. The next step is to fix the longer-term crisis. In 2017, Councilman Jeff Goerger introduced a 'Welcoming Community Resolution.' That resolution passed. The night that resolution passed, Jaylaini Hussein threatened St. Cloud City Councilman Jeff Johnson, calling Jeff an Islamophobe, xenophobe and a racist. People that know Jeff know that he's neither of those things.

Hussein is the president of CAIR-MN. Hussein's chief tactic is calling people racists, Islamophobes and other slurs. That's the longer-term fight we must win. If people of character (of all ethnicities) get intimidated by CAIR's slurs, we'll fight a losing fight. If we fight for what's right, we'll win. CAIR, the Somali gangs and others don't persuade people because their ideas are superior. CAIR didn't defeat Jeff Johnson because he knew that he was confident in his beliefs.

If we trust in the LORD, which Jeff did, there's nothing to fear. Jeff Goerger's welcoming community resolutionn passed because most of the people on the council are airheads and because they were intimidated. I don't respect them. Check this out:

Geny Villoa stuck to his chanting points:

Villoa said "It is sad to see some people trying to divide us when we should be coming together. Villoa i semi-right in that it's sad that we should be uniting behind the principles that the U.S. is founded on. Why shouldn't Villoa want to unite behind the principles that built the greatest republic in human history? Villoa is from Somalia, a nation that's been fighting a civil war since the 1990s. It's sad to hear a refugee who came from a nation that's been fighting a civil war lecturing us about coming together instead of fighting a civil war.

Peggy Flanagan must think we're idiots:

Where's the Pandering Hijab, Peggy? Question for Lt. Gov. Flanagam: How many Somslis shot students at the Eden Prairie HS Homecoming Game? Q2: How many of them shot students while thinking about President Trump? Q3: How many Somali gang leaders know who President Trump is? In order: Answer to Q1 is 2; Answer to Q2 is likely ZERO. The answer to Q3 is also ZERO! I'll give the DFL credit for this: Somalis are already proficient at sticking to the DFL script.
