Michele Tafoya: this year's 'Common Sense Champion'

If you played a word association game with Michele Tafoya's name during her campaign, the term most most likely to top the list is common sense, partly due to Michele Tafoya's frequent use of the term, partly due to the fact that that's Michele's persona. Fox News Digital interviewed Tafoya Tuesday morning. At the time, Tafoya said "We do not want to see a socialist lurch anywhere in this country, and in particular in Minnesota, so I will do whatever I can to stand up against this movement toward Democrat socialism. Socialism does not work."

Tafoya then said "There is absolutely a home for every voter in Minnesota that wants common sense, that wants a return to sanity, that wants to see kids learn in school again, that wants accountability for this fraud, who wants the fraud never repeat itself, who wants crime rates to go down again. There is room for you. We are the common sense candidacy and we're gonna represent a lot more than just conservatives in this state."

That message is why Tafoya has a great chance of ending the MNGOP's 20-year drought of statewide victories in Minnesota. The other reason why she's got a shot at winning is because her message is to grow the MNGOP. Lt. Gov. Flanagan's 'Victory Speech' was angry, divisive ansd didn't sound like a winner's speech. Tafoya was pleasant-sounding. She constantly has a smile on her face. In short, she's the female version of a happy warrior. Further and most important, her message is that of reaching out to the entire political spectrum. Lt. Gov. Flanagan's message sounded mostly like a scold only interested in turning out her party, aka the DFL/DSA.

Tearing down law enforcement and sounding angry is the perfect way to limit a candidate's reach. Finally, the things Michele Tafoya says just make sense. Lt. Gov. Flanagan's statements sound like someone who isn't interested in growing the DFL/DSA.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
