Amy Klobuchar's, Keith Ellison's hot mess

Amy Klobuchar and Keith Ellison just got a hot mess dropped in their laps. This morning, as expected, the Supreme Court handed down its opinion on biological males participating in female sports. CBS is reporting "In two of the most closely watched cases of its term, the Supreme Court upheld laws from West Virginia and Idaho that restrict transgender athletes' participation in school sports. The cases are known as West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox."

Though the ruling only covered the 27 states that've banned biological males from participating in female sports, it's widely believed that additional lawsuits will get filed to finish what these lawsuits started. Additional lawsuits will automatically require them to challenge the 23 states' so-called transgender laws that let biological males to compete against biological females. One of those 23 states is Minnesota.

That means that candidates for AG and governor should be required to answer whether they'll support today's SCOTUS ruling or if they'll fight to let biological males compete against biological females.

Let's find out if journalists will ask Amy Klobuchar and Keith Ellison if they'll challenge the sure-to-come lawsuits challenging Minnesota's trans athlete laws. Let's ask Sen. Klobuchar if she'd sign into law a bill that upholds today's SCOTUS rulings. I'd ask because I don't know what they'd do. Check out this report:

This isn't just a states' rights issue. It's mostly a civil rights issue. Why should states be able to determine the definition of males or females? That's far beyond their expertise.
