Why won't Democrats fund DHS?

I've watched politics since the 1970s. As a senior in high school (1974), I took a class on Watergate WHILE WOODWARD AND BERNSTEIN were investigating the break-in of the DNC Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. While that was worthy of impeachment, what's infinitely worse is the Democrats' insistence on not enforcing this nation's immigration laws. Their chutzpah is so in-your-face that they aren't hiding it from anyone. Additionally, they're accusing ICE and Border Patrol agents of wanting to commit murder inside airports, thereby ratcheting up the Democrats' rhetoric to never-seen-before levels.

These are elected officials! There's no hesitation in saying this disgusting, dishonest BS. Tim Walz, Minnesota's knucklehead DFL governor, gave the commencement address at the University of Minnesota's Law School. Things didn't turn out too well for 'Tampon Timmy.' That day, Gov. Walz told the graduating class that ICE were the equivalent of President Trump's "modern day Gestapo":

After that, Gov. Walz was forced from the race by the DFL. But I digress. The question left unanswered is this: why have DC's Democrats insisted on not funding ICE and Border Patrol? We're in a war against Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism. Why do Democrats think that shutting down the terrorist-protectionist wing of DHS is smart? That's what brain-dead people do. That isn't what intelligent people do.

We'll have proof that Democrats aren't serious about protecting the U.S. homeland if they vote against re-opening DHS. That's proof positive that Democrats are unserious and unworthy of people's votes. It's one thing to have differences of opinion on tax or trade policy. Those aren't the types of things that'll get people killed. Leaving DHS unfunded definitely might get people killed. This op-ed does a great job of ridiculing yesterday's anti-ICE rally. Enjoy.
