What stunts will the DFL pull next? Predictions edition
This shooting, as tragic as it is, won't keep the DFL fired up through Election Day, 2026. Since the DFL doesn't have anything to really run on, the question becomes 'which lies will the DFL rely on to win races'? Here are the DFL mayors trying to peddle the assault weapons bans:
These mayors and activists are shameless. They act like the gun took it upon itself and started firing at those innocent children. Why didn't they mention Robin Westman, the troubled young person who said that he was "tired of being trans" and who wished "I hadn't brain-washed myself" into transitioning.I'm betting that the DFL's next hoax is trying to convince Minnesotans that we've got a growing economy. The truth is that it's difficult to make a profit with constantly rising tax rates, a fee schedule that's getting ridiculous and regulations that won't let us touch this state's natural resouces. Minnesota could have a dynamic economy because we've got people with a great work ethic and because outstate Minnesota is filled with industrious people, otherwise known as farmers.
The people aren't excited about the DFL this year. Tim Walz is vulnerable because he's been exposed as a buffoon on the national stage and because he's taken turns trying to play cranky old politician to playing elder statesman, then reverting back to acting like a cranky old politician again.
The DFL politicians who are running for legislative seats aren't top-tier candidates. The Minneapolis DFL is fighting a civil waqr. Most importantly, Gov. Walz and DFL legislators are embroiled in a couple major scandals, too. These scandals have gotten psartially cleaned up but no thanks to the DFL. The feds have done most of the cleaning up, with an assist from Republicans on the House Fraud and Oversight Committee.
At this point, the only thing saving the DFL is Minnesota's longtime tendency to vote for Democrats. That's a shame because today's Democrats are full-throated socialists. They aren't Humphrey or even Wellstone Democrats. They're a little to the left of Bernie Sanders socialists.
