The DFL's transgender propaganda
Karol Markowicz reports "If any other mental condition produced a pattern of murder, we would collectively discuss and decide on strategies to help those ailing. But there’s no discussion allowed about what to do when a child declares themselves transgender. No one may point out that gender dysphoria is often a symptom of a much larger mental health problem."
Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL Governor, is floating a trial balloon of calling a special session to deal with gun violence. Thus far, that trial balloon isn't going anywhere. First, the timeline doesn't work. The Senate has 2 open seats, one DFL open seat, the other a GOP open seat. The Senate isn't the problem, though. The House is.
The person running in the Woodbury open seat as a Democrat is already serving as a Democrat in the House, which is tied 67-67 as of right now. Prior to Nov. 4, the House will stay tied at 67 Republicans, 67 Democrats. The minute the Senate special election is called, if the Democrat wins, the House is suddenly 67 Republicans, 66 Democrats.
That requires a special election to fill the House to either 68-66 GOP majority or a 67-67 tie. By the time that special election is finalized, it'll be late January. at minimum. The regular session starts half the ways through February. What's the sense of a special session 2 weeks before the regular session?
In this KSTP report, Ron Latz said the silent part out loud:
He said "There will always be those who hate the restricting access to firearms." There's a reason for that, Ronnie. The Second Amendment says this:A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. The Constitution itself says that our right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. BTW, the definition of infringed is "violated, transgressed, or encroached upon, as a regulation, restriction, or right."
I'm certain that Sen. Latz wishes he hadn't said what he said but that's his problem. As you saw in the video, he clearly said that "There will always be those who hate the restricting access to firearms." This is damning:
The American Medical Association, a professional group of physicians that has become a wholly political entity in the last few years, only suggests one path, that of "gender-affirming care" — and urges that "forgoing gender-affirming care can have tragic health consequences, both mental and physical."Give the AMA the Dr. Fauci Award for Science. Not!
