Ilhan Omar jumps into Omar Fateh-Jacob Frey-DFL civil war
What's inexcusable is the fact that the State DFL, not the Minneapolis DFL, said that vote-counting mistakes of the magnitude that've already been reported on happened. Mike Erlandson said that 25% of first ballot votes weren't counted. That's inexcusable.
For that matter, things don't look like they'll get better for the DFL anytime soon. is reporting "Fateh’s campaign and his supporters have claimed 'establishment Democrats, including many Frey supporters,' coordinated an effort to throw out his endorsement. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is among those who condemned the vacating of the endorsement, saying, 'Fateh's campaign organized and won the endorsement. This decision will be a stain on our party for years to come.'"
Then there's this:
This isn't shaping up to be a good year for the DFL. Next year, aka the midterms, might be a different story but that's looking more unsettled by the day, too. Dustin Grage's contribution:Minneapolis Democrats are furious that Tim Walz’s hand-picked state party overturned Omar Fateh’s DFL endorsement.

Delegates are livid and threatening to sit out the midterms.
There has never been a better moment for Republicans to win statewide.
Finally, there's this:🚨 BREAKING: Ilhan Omar and other prominent Minneapolis Democrats are blasting the Minnesota DFL for stripping Omar Fateh’s endorsement status.
