National Border Patrol Council unanimously endorses Donald Trump

When Donald Trump paints his opponents into a corner, they're often left looking a little sheepish. That's what he did to the Harris campaign Sunday, when he proposed an idea to the National Border Patrol Council. Specifically, President Trump proposed "he would set a goal of hiring 10,000 Border Patrol agents and 'immediately' ask Congress to give all agents a 10 percent pay raise. He also pitched a $10,000 'retention and signing bonus' for agents." Almost immediately, the Harris campaign replied, saying "Trump doesn’t care about solving problems, he only wants to run on one. That’s why he killed the bipartisan border bill that would’ve secured the border, despite the fact that it was endorsed by the Border Patrol."

That's a steaming pile of BS from the Harris campaign. First, Harris is the partisan hack who criticized building Trump's wall, calling it a vanity project. Then-Sen. Harris voted multiple times against funding the building of President Trump's border wall, the wall which she now says she supports building. Next, VP Harris often talks about the bipartisan border bill as if it would eliminate illegal border crossings. Actually, it would codify Harris-Biden border policies 'enactedd' through executive action by Biden. Check this out:

Third, the National Border Patrol Council, the union that officially represents the border patrol, , unanimously endorsed President Trump. They didn't just endorse President Trump. The NBPC unanimously endorsed President Trump.

Think of it this way. This endorsement wasn't a strong endorsement of President Trump. It wasn't a Reaganesque landslide of Trump by the NBPC. This endorsement of President Trump was unanimous. That means VP Harris didn't get a single vote for endorsement.

Fourth, these are the men and women who risk their lives to protect us. For them, this isn't a job. It's a calling. How dare this punk political operative insist that President Trump isn't interested in solving the border problem.

Further, it's time for Republicans to go on the offensive. Let's remind voters that President Trump's policies worked. According to this chart, Biden had 2 years (FY2022-FY2023) where he let in more illegal aliens than Trump let in his entire 4-year term:

Further, it's time to remind voters that the House passed H.R.2, which codified Trump's policies into law. The House passed the bill on May 11, 2023 but Senate Democrats wouldn't even give the bill a committee hearing. REMINDER: None of the vulnerable Senate Democrats lifted a finger to push for a committee hearing for H.R.2. These vulnerable Democrats have portrayed themselves as moderates, especially Jon Tester and Bob Casey. They aren't moderates in terms of their governing.

Finally, it's time to re-elect President Trump, re-elect the House Republican majority and throw out the Democrat majority in the Senate. Democrats are anti-fossil fuel and anti-border security. We're better off with unified GOP governance in DC.
