Joe Biden's Big Boy presser

People that spent the whole day waiting for Joe Biden's Big Boy presser waited an extra 2 hours for it to start. After a brief statement that sounded more like a stump speech, Biden finally called on a reporter to ask a question. To nobody's surprise, Biden said he had a list of reporters to call on. This time, Joe called on Jeff Mason of Reuters.

Mason then asked Biden "What concerns do you have about Vice President Harris's ability to beat Donald Trump if she were at the top of the ticket?" Biden immediately replied "Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump if I didn't think she was qualified to be president. This USA Today article described the exchange differently. In the USAToday article, it was worded "I wouldn't have picked her unless I thought she was qualified to be president, from the very beginning I made no bones about that." I watched the presser. I know what was said. USAToday got it wrong. The question I referenced is found just 35 seconds into this video:

If you prefer, this is a better visual: The point is that, for the second time in a day, Biden got a major name wrong. During the presser, he called his VP Trump. At the end of the presser: I agree. Listen to Trump. Listening to Biden is a waste of time.

In Summary

Biden had his fair share of verbal mistakes but few enough to be viewed as acceptable. Last night's presser is proof that Biden isn't well enough to do the job but not to provide Pelosi, Obama, Jeffries and Schumer the ammunition they need to run him out of office.

Blistering Barack's butt (bigtime)

This past weekend, Barack Obama tried spreading the blame around for Hamas's murderous rampage of Oct. 7. This blistering op-ed hints that Mr. Obama isn't the effective communicator that he once was. Obama initially insisted that "nobody's hands are clean" from the Oct. 7 Massacre. Liel Leibovitz, the Editor at large of Tablet Magazine wrote this op-ed questioning Obama's intellectual honesty. After Obama said that nobody's hands are clean, Mr. Liebovitz wrote wrote "Nah, man. Not all of us are complicit. It's just you. It's you, because you're the one who gave that stentorian speech about red lines in Syria and then sat by and did nothing as those red lines were crossed and Assad continued to slaughter his own people, allowing the Iranians and the Russians to creep in and fill the vacuum left by your devastating lack of leadership." It isn't disputable whether Joe Biden's administration is letting Hamas off the hook. That issue was settled months ago, when a spineless Joe Biden caved to activists interested in saving Hamas and thwarting the Israelis' attempt to defend themselves. Gerard Baker's op-ed highlights what's at stake for the U.S. if the terrorists are permitted to survive.
