Stupid Joe Biden is killing Big Pharma

In addition to not having a spine, Joe Biden is proving that he isn't too bright. Kim Strassel's latest Potomac Watch column gives a detailed list of what Biden has gotten wrong. The opening paragraph states "The White House this week proposed to strip drug companies of their vaccine patents, an act hailed by adulators as 'moral leadership.' It's better seen as the encapsulation of the Biden presidency—a case study in fictional narratives, executive overreach, recklessness, and kowtowing to the left." After Pfizer and Moderna worked miracles to create their vaccines, the Biden administration 'rewards' them by stripping them of their patent rights. If that sounds like the Biden administration are punishing Pfizer and Moderna, that's because the Biden administration is punishing Pfizer and Moderna. Biden doesn't sound any different than Bernie Sanders sounded in this videotaped statement: Strassel continued with her indictment of Biden:
The biopharmaceutical industry, in under a year, accomplished a modern miracle—designing a breakthrough vaccine to counter Covid-19; engineering a ground-up production process; and climbing a logistical Everest. It was a triumph of innovation, investment and capitalism, a moment that deserves to be celebrated. Instead, the Biden administration supports a proposal in the World Trade Organization that would "waive" the intellectual-property rights of the companies that accomplished this feat, giving away their technology to every drugmaker in the world. Put another way, Mr. Biden is freely handing American invention to China—the country that routinely steals it, and whose Wuhan lab might have been the source of the virus.
The US shouldn't deal with corrupt organizations like the WHO. The WHO shills for the CCP, aka Chinese Communist Party. The Biden administration is essentially giving the Chinese the patents to these incedible vaccines.
The move is in keeping with the administration’s refusal to acknowledge the history of the vaccine achievement. Team Biden continues its willful disregard of Operation Warp Speed, in part because it is too petty to give credit to any person, company or initiative connected to the Trump administration. It has instead pushed the claim that the Biden administration alone deserves credit for the vaccine rollout. This rewriting of reality is becoming routine. The administration declares there is no "crisis" at the border, as illegal crossings surge. It says Georgia’s election-law update is "Jim Crow," although the state provides more voting opportunities than others. It redefines entitlement spending as “infrastructure.” The press only encourages these fictions, making it easier for the administration to ignore biotech’s lead role in beating the pandemic and to hand over its work to the world.
The MSM is eating this stuff up even though it's pure BS. Joe Biden's actions have led to higher gas prices, rising crime and out-of-control inflation. Other than that, everything is fine.

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
