Joe Biden's border deception
Rather than enforcing the immigration laws that've already been signed into law, the Biden administration is attempting to lie to the American people. Unfortunately for them, Rep. Henry Cuellar is calling them out on their deception. When the Biden administration posted a photo of an empty facility of the Donna, TX facility, Cuellar didn't let that go.
First, here's the photo:
Henry Cuellar shredded Jen Psaki's statement in a New York Minute. Psaki said "The amount of time children spend in CBP custody is down 75 percent, from 131 hours at the end of March to under 30 hours now." Enter Cuellar:
All they’re doing is, they’re moving kids from one tent to the other tent and saying, 'Oh, they’re not in the Border Patrol [facility]. But they’re right next door. They’re just next door in HHS."Rather than fixing the crisis, the Biden administration is playing games. This is noteworthy:
Cuellar is vice chairman of the House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee. He has visited the facility in Donna several times since Biden took office and claims more tents are added each week to accommodate youths arriving from south of the border, according to Border Report. The border still isn't secure. That translates into heavier use of health and education dollars for local communities, higher crime rates and soaring drug overdose rates nationwide. That isn't a solution. That's a bait-and-switch.
Buses carrying migrants into and out of the compound are seen at the facility constantly, with parking lot staff needed to control the traffic, the report said. In late April, Cuellar disclosed that the Biden administration had fast-tracked more than 15,300 migrants for release without formal immigration notices – in a so-called "catch and release" process that has drawn criticism from many Republicans. The Biden administration isn't stupid. They're just arrogant. They apparently think that they can put out a picture and have everyone believe them. If there's anything that Democrats don't understand, it's that their credibility is virtually nonexistent.
