This morning, I received an e-letter update from Annette Meeks's Freedom Foundation of Minnesota . Her e-letter update opened by saying "Much ink has been spilled by liberal newspaper reporters, breathlessly informing readers about a Minnesota first: a Republican-aligned organization that is spending significant (and publicly disclosed) contributions to support the candidacy of House Speaker Lisa Demuth for governor." The e-letter update continues, saying "Imagine that: after two decades, Republicans in Minnesota are finally playing by the same rules as the DFL. But we’re reading about the Republican expenditures for exactly one reason: the progressive left is concerned about the election outcome because Republicans finally learned they must play the political independent expenditure game – just like the Democrats. This morning, the Daily Signal reported that "The Department of Homeland Security raided the home of Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., early Monday morning, less than a month before the midterm election. The raid is part of a larger criminal fraud investigation into the congresswoman’s immigration paperwork and was signed off by a federal judge. First reported by Fox News Digital, multiple Homeland Security Investigations agents were seen outside her home in Washington, D.C. The raid began at 6 a.m. Monday." In this article , I quoted Geny Villoa as saying "It is sad to see some people trying to divide us when we should be coming together." It's noteworthy that Villoa is from Somalia, where they've been fighting a civil war since the early 1990s. A week after i Somali gangs ruined the Eden Prairie High School Homecoming Game, St. Cloud Tech High School tried spinning their way out of their decision to not fix the Somali gang violence problem. To be fair, there was a threat posted on social media, though it didn't say anything about who the threat came from, though that's often an indicator by itself. This KSTP article reports that "St. Cloud Tech High School is adding new game security after a threat raised concerns ahead of homecoming. The school used metal detectors, bag checks, and had a highly visible police presence at its homecoming football game Friday afternoon. The district also moved kickoff to 4:30 p.m. and required people to leave promptly after the game. It's obvious to people with brains that Sen. Amy Klobuchar isn't prepared to protect Minnesotans. According to this Alpha News article , MN GOP Chairman Alex Plechash is frequently quoted as being harsh on Sen. Klobuchar on the issue of public safety. For instance, Chairman Plechash said "Public safety is the first responsibility of government. Yet Amy Klobuchar’s campaign website does not list it among her stated priorities. That omission speaks volumes." That's foolish. Hoq do protect the public without hiring police officers or buying ammunition or protective gear. That's a little short-sighted. Here are Sen. Now that the FBI thwarted a terrorist attack on the Mall of America , Amy Klobuchar said "This shows why we continue to need major coordinated investments in anti-terrorism and local law enforcement to stop attacks like these. Our state must take terrorism and violent crime head on, working with our federal law enforcement and local police departments to keep Minnesotans safe." Sen. Klobuchar sickens me with her faux concern over terrorism. She's the politician that advocated for bringing unscreened Somalis to the U.S., starting in 2015. I wrote this article to highlight Sen.
