Amy Klobuchar praises Minnesota's great football weekend

Amy Klobuchar's attempt to sound like a sports fan would've gone better if she wasn't utterly tone deaf. In this tweet, Klobuchar wrote "What a weekend for football in Minnesota! First the Gophers bring the Little Brown Jug home. Now the Vikings defense comes through again with a 15-10 win. 4-0! #SKOL!" There's just 1 thing wrong that tweet. The timing couldn't have been worse/more tone deaf. Frozen In Bemidji replied "You forgot the Somali homecoming game where the skinnies outshot the balloonheads 2-0."

People have treated Sen. Klobuchar like she's walked on water. The truth is that she's rarely been challenged. In her Senate career, she's mostly known for doing what Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer or Dick Durbin told her to do. She's NEVER stood up to Democrat leadership. She didn't stand up to Joe Biden, instead saying that Biden was sharp as a tack.

Sen. Klobuchar isn't a leader. She's a follower. She's the personification of the status quo. This is KSTP's breaking news report from the homecoming game:

Lisa Demuth won't use happy talk when GANG VIOLENCE disrupts a high school sporting event. Sen. Klobuchar HAS used happy talk to sound semi-pro-American. I don't have a problem being a longsuffering Vikings fan. Similarly, I'm fine with cheering the Gophers defeating Hugh Hewitt's hated Wolverines.

Klobuchar didn't participate in Friday night's KSTP debate. It's time she started showing that she's a leader. Thus far, she hasn't shown that she's a leader. That day isn't likely to happen. She doesn't understand what's REQUIRED of a leader. Stay in the Senate where being Sen. One-Out-of-Hundred is the norm.

Governors are supposed to lead. Klobuchar hasn't. That isn't who she is.

Joe Biden already was dealing with a catastrophe when it comes to the Tex-Mex border. This afternoon, that mess turned into a catastrophe. That's because the National Border Patrol Council, aka the NBPC, tweeted their support for the "TX NG", aka the Texas National Guard. In their tweet, the NBPC said "Rank-and file BP agents are not going to start arresting TX NG members for following their LAWFUL orders. That's fake news. TX NG and rank-and-file BP agents work together and respect each other's jobs. Period. If TX NG members have LAWFUL orders, then they have to carry out those orders."
