The DFL's 'No New Ideas' Agenda

If it's Friday night, I'll be watching Almanac so you don't have to (though I hope you do.) After last night, though, and having to watch DFL Chair Richard Carlbom, you owe me bigtime. Chair Carlbom is a major windbag who apparently didn't learn how to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Apparently, he's fine with telling parts of the truth most of the time but telling THE WHOLE TRUTH all of the time is a foreign concept to him. I got the impression that he knew had an uphill fight selling a status quo set of candidates in a change elecction.

Follow the link above, then click the watch icon to view the entire program. To watch the 'Chair's Roundtable', scroll forward to th 41:00 mark. Watch that entire segment. Count how often Chair Carlbom mentioned Sen. Klobuchar. Then count how few times he mentioned Lt. Gov. Fraudigan and AG Keith Ellison. Then, count how many times he mentions Trump's name. Trump and Klobuchar are names mentioned most often.

Otherwise, Chair Carlbom mentioned that Klobuchar has a plan for fraud. By comparison, the Walz administration is implementing the Demuth plan. The Klobuchar plan is "a top-to-bottom-audit" of the government. It doesn't mention what happens after that. Chair Carlbom tried tying Michele Tafoya and Lisa Demuth to President Trump, though he failed in connecting Trump to either. This interview likely frightens Carlbom:

It should frighten him because Michele handled all of the questtions. She kept a pleasant demeanor the entire time and she said she's give Trump credit when he was right and say he's wrong when she thinks he's wrong.

That blows to smithereens Carlbom's statement that Republicans are either afraid of Trump or agree with Trump. Apparently, the DFL plans on running a Klobuchar-Trump campaign where no new ideas are seriously discussed or entertained. Thst's fine if things re running smooth. Things aren't running smooth. If they were, Tim Walz would be running for his third term. Instead, he's retiring.

Monday night, Zach Dorholt gave us a preview in his debate with Sue Ek. The thing he stressed most was more money for schools. That isn't a new idea. That's as old as the hills. That's what happens, though, when you can't find top-tier recruits. Dorholt, BTW, is a retread literally from 10 years ago.

Finally, it floored me to hear Carlbom say that fraud is the third-ranked issue at the DFL State Fair booth. He's either lying or that's how insignificant an issue it is with the DFL. Either way, it says everything you need to know about the DFL

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
