Peggy Flanagan's defensiveness raises questions

Next Friday, on Oct.2, KSTP-TV is hosting a trio of debates between the GOP and DFL gubernatorial nominees, the GOP and DFL nominees for the U.S. Senate and the GOP and DFL nominees for Minnesota's Attorney General. Thus far, Amy Klobuchar has accepted KSTP's invitation. Michele tweeted that she's accepted the invitations for the MPR radio debate and the televised KSTP-TV debates. Peggy Flanagan has accepted MPR's invitation. To date, Lt. Gov. Flanagan HASN'T ACCEPTED KSTP's invitatation: In 2022, Gov. Walz didn't do any televised debates. He did the FarmFest debate with Dr. Scott Jensen right before that year's State Fair and got pulverized. That was the only debate he did. The theory was that he didn't want televised debates that could be converted into TV ads. Let's be clear. The DFL wants to run out the clock on the GOP because their candidates aren't good debaters. Klobuchar and Ellison are closest to being decent debaters but I wouldn't characterize either as a skilled debater. I'd characterize Flanagan as less-than-average. Here's where the debates debate stands:

Notice that the DFL wants to push back the debates until well into early voting. The DFL wants their voters to be done voting before the debates. That isn't how confident debaters play it. Therefore, we should assume that Klobuchar, Ellison and Flanagan are average debaters at best.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
