Lisa Demuth's future ad featuring Ryan Winkler

Either Ryan Winkler is a GOP plant on Friday night's Almanac or he isn't that bright strategically. Ryan Winkler stepped on a rake on Almanac's Roundtable when he said "We need a governor who's ready to show up and start addressing a lot of the issues that have not been -- I mean fraud is one but student achievement hasn't been going well, housing affordbility has not been going well, economic growth has not been going all that well and Gov. Klobuchar, when she's sworn in, her administration will be focused on delivering results." Fritz Knaak replied "Ryan, I agree with you completely that there's all there's all those needs that haven't been met but we've had 8 years of a Democrat governor and that's when all that's happened. So the real question that voters will answer is whether Amy Klobuchar will somehow be different. I would argue 'not at all' and whether they need a change like Lisa. I would think that Lisa would be the change they would want."

Amy Frederiksen, formerly Amy Koch, argued that fraud is the top issue statewide because Sen. Klobuchar's first ad was about fraud:

Frankly, that's just a word salad of empty platitudes. Does anyone think that Klobuchar will take on Education Minnesota? That won't happen. What in Sen. Klobuchar's past suggests that she'll "cut red tape?" To steal an old Texas cliche, Sen. Klobuchar is all hat and no cattle.

The only thing Sen. Klobuchar is famous for is spending money. That's the last thing Minnesota needs. According to this Center Ror the American Experiment article, "In the context of government programs, “free” actually means that taxpayers are paying, and that cost keeps rising. Just six months after the program was launched, it was 20% over budget and, yesterday, KSTP reported that the cost continues to spiral." I won't blame Sen. Klobuchar for what others did but I'm happy to question whether she has a history of being a spendaholic. I'll be diplomatic and say that Klobuchar spending is a target-rich environment.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
