ActBlue turns into MoveOn.org?

When did Democrat fundraising "behemoth" ActBlue turn into former Bill Clinton protector MoveOn.org? In the article, it quotes (via an ActBlue statement) "ActBlue characterized the report as a Republican witch hunt meant to hurt the Democratic Party before the midterm elections. 'There’s nothing to see here,' ActBlue said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation. 'After we released findings of a third-party forensic analysis that completely undermined a central claim that they have made against ActBlue, Republicans are refusing to move on. Instead, they are orchestrating another political stunt before rushing out of town weeks early to go campaign.'"

Trusting ActBlue to conduct a NEUTRAL third-party review is foolish. Let's see how long ActBlue's "third-party forensic analysis" holds up when Jim Jordan questions ActBlue. I'm betting that they'd quickly fall apart. This is rich:

"This coordinated campaign against ActBlue isn’t about the facts, or legislating, it’s about Republicans’ efforts to silence organizations they believe threaten their agenda," a spokesperson for the platform added.
How does ActBlue explain this?
By February 2025, the company faced an internal revolt, internal Slack messages obtained by congressional investigators reveal. Following the departure of most of the company’s legal team, its last remaining in-house attorney said that he faced illegal retaliation. ActBlue Director of IT Hanna Bonin simply deleted his messages.

When the New York Times published an investigation into the tumult this April, ActBlue once again went on the warpath against its own attorneys, accusing Covington & Burling of "counsel that bordered on malpractice." The law firm forcefully denied the accusation.

In June, the committee compelled Wallace-Jones to testify. She stonewalled the lawmakers, repeatedly invoking her Fifth Amendment rights.

In court, jurors are instructed not to read anything into a witness invoking their Fifth Amendment rights. That's done ONLY to force prosecutors to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. I'm not obligated to that standard because this isn't a trial.

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
