Minnesota GOP hire off-duty police officers for State Fair protection

Keith Ellison, Minnesota's spineless DFL AG, has been callled out by the Republican Party of Minnesota. As Minnesota's chief law enforcement officer, Keith Ellison has failed. He failed to stop fraud. According to Alpha News's report, "Last week, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Ramsey County Attorney John Choi signed an agreement with alleged members of Somali gangs where those individuals said they would stay away from the state fair this year." What a pair of wimps.

If we had a strong AG, we'd have an AG telling "alleged members of Somali gangs" what the penalties would be if they harassed people visiting the GOP Fair Booth or any other booth. Ron Schutz, the GOP nominee for attorney general, issued a statement saying "Sheriff Bob Fletcher, State Fair police, and law enforcement officers are using every tool available to protect Minnesota families. They deserve our gratitude and support. They should never have been forced into this position by political leaders who have spent years undermining police and failing to hold violent criminals accountable. Keith Ellison has spent years cozying up to fraudsters. Now his office is negotiating the terms under which alleged gang members may attend the State Fair. As attorney general, I will prosecute criminals—not negotiate the rules under which they can threaten public safety. I have spent my career winning in the courtroom for victims. I will bring that same fight to the attorney general’s office and win prosecutions for the people of Minnesota. Violent gang members do not belong at the State Fair. They belong behind bars."

There isn't a need to negotiate with gang members when the laws are enforced. The Twin Cities is famous for not standing with law enforcement. While it's true that St. Paul is better at it than Minneapolis, that's more of a backhanded compliment than compliment. Check this report out:

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
