Michele Tafoya's earned media blitz continues

The outlines of Michele Tafoya's Senatorial general election campaign is taking shape. I titled this article "Michele Tafoya: this year's 'Common Sense Champion'" because she's highlighting the difference between her intended governing approach and DFL Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan's highly ideological governing style. Fox News noticed Michele Tafoya's approach, too. They're reporting "As socialist candidates continue to score victories across the country and take more control of the Democratic Party, Minnesota GOP Senate nominee Michele Tafoya is making her pitch to voters from all parties who still believe in 'common sense.'"

Part of Michele Tafoya's pitch is encapsulated in this sentence, where she's quoted as saying "There is absolutely a home for every voter in Minnesota that wants common sense, that wants a return to sanity, that wants to see kids learn in school again, that wants accountability for this fraud, who wants the fraud never repeat itself, who wants crime rates to go down again. There is room for you. We are the common sense candidacy and we're gonna represent a lot more than just conservatives in this state."

Earned media is another important part of Michele Tafoya's campaign. Here's an example of that facet:

The important thing that Larry Kudlow said is that, if the late Hubert Humphrey were still alive, he'd be supporting Tafoya instead of supporting Flanagan because his policies were closer to Tafoya's than to Flanagan's policies. That's saying something considering the fact that Hubert helped push the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as LBJ's vice president. Tafoya replied that Rudy Boschwitz is still alive and that he's supporting Michele Tafoya.

Let's be certain about this. Flanaga is the personification of a do-nothing Lt. Governor. We shouldn't give a promotion to a do-nothing career politician like Lt. Gov. Flansgan.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency.
