Mike Lindell's epic amnesty plan

It isn't easy outdoing Joe Biden when it comes to opening the U.S.'s borders but Mike Lindell's given it a good shot. Lindell didn't smash it. He didn't even break it. Still, Lindell gave it a good shot. According to quotes in this Alpha News article, one "of the most prominent immigration think tanks in the United States is calling out Mike Lindell’s recent proposal to provide permanent work visas to illegal aliens." In short, CIS is calling Lindell out.

CIS resident fellow Andrew Arthur said "This proposal is an amnesty. It’s an amnesty for a population of undetermined size. It has all of the deficiencies of any amnesty, and it threatens to have a huge impact on the working population in the United States." First, let's dig into some of the particulars of Lindell's proposal.

According to the article, "Lindell, a Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota, has proposed the creation of a six-month deportation moratorium during which illegal aliens can apply for a conditional work visa. That visa would not expire and allow illegal aliens to work in the United States." Imagine how many illegal aliens can apply for that permanent work visa in a 6-month period.

"Proposals like this surface from time to time," Arthur said. "They all have more or less the same features, that it would be everybody regardless of when they got here, or some population of people who arrived before date certain."

He described the plan as "a massive amnesty" that would "drive down wages for workers at the lowest end of the economic spectrum. It would put them in direct competition with American workers, and by that I mean not just U.S. citizens but lawful immigrants [and] green card holders."

There isn't any doubt. Mike Lindell is pro amnesty. If a GOP governor initiates this without the constitutional authoriity, Democrats will follow suit. Once that happens, all hell breaks loose.

First, Lindell didn't have the constitutional authority to do this. Next, why washe thinking of a federal issue when he's running for governor? Third, why isn't he thinking about solutions for things like Medicaid fraud, property taxes and education? On his campaign website, Lindell didn't mention fraud or tax cuts. He calls himself a Republican?

Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services.
