Democrat Socialists of America spin

The Democrat Socialists of America have a vivid imagination. Unfortunately for them, they made the mistake of telling people about their dream (socialist) world looks like. According to the DSA's website's opening paragraph "It might not feel as badly needed as it does now. You enjoy your work; it’s interesting to you, and you’re well trained for it. You work as much as you are able and no more than needed, and you would control your own labor and see it going to good use. It’s not just a job to pay the bills." That's the DSA's sales pitch? They start by telling us that we "enjoy" our work and that we're well-trained to do that work. Then the DSA said "You work as much as you are able and no more than needed."

Western Civilization's great accomplishments didn't happen becauses groups of people worked "no more than needed." That's the socialists' great lie. George Washington's Revolutionary Army didn't defeat the British Army by working no more than needed. Gen. Washington's Army defeated the British Army because they tirelessly toiled to overthrow a tyrant.

Today's tyrant isn't the British Throne. It's the DSA. The DSA's sales pitch continues:

You have no debt. You don’t need health insurance. You don’t pay a mortgage or have a landlord, because comfortable housing is a human right. Your retirement is publicly funded. Food, education, energy, medicine, and transportation aren’t for-profit businesses; they are common goods and utilities.

It's easy to overlook the flaw in the DSA's elixir. In the Declaration of Independence, it says "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness." When the DSA talked about not having to pay a mortgage, the DSA said it's "because comfortable housing is a human right." 'Rights' granted by government can be take away by that same government because governments are subject to change based on the whims of people. True rights are "endowed" to us "by our Creator with certain inalienable rights." Those rights AREN'T subject to change because God doesn't change.

Finally, watch this speech by Marco Rubio:

At the conference, Secretary Rubio said "Today we face a new wave of this old evil here in the United States: the share of left-wing terrorist attacks and plots has risen to levels not seen in decades. You are here because this is real, and it is getting worse, and it can no longer be denied, and it can no longer be ignored. It is time to crush this evil forever. It's time for people of the civilized world to defend themselves."

Further, Secretary Rubio said "far-left extremist networks coordinate across borders by sharing training materials, encrypted communications, financing and safe houses while working alongside hostile foreign states. He argued the United States and its allies must respond by expanding intelligence sharing, law enforcement cooperation and efforts to disrupt terrorist financing."

The days of thinking that Antifa isn't real are over. That myth was created by left-leaning politicians who put partisanship ahead of statesmanship. Finally, there's this toxic stew:

A socialist day off could be like any good day now. But what if you were free to spend your time how you like without worrying about cost or dreading going back to work? What if you didn’t have to think about paying rent or loans at the end of the month, or saving for college, or affording groceries?

I LOVE dashing this socialist pipe dream. There's no such thing as a free lunch. If something sounds like Heaven-on-Earth, it isn't real. The DSA is lying to you just like Zohran Mamdani lied to New Yorkers to get elected. Since getting sworn in, Mamdani has broken most of the promises he made during the campaign. It hasn't stopped him from pushing the DSA's set of lies.
