Quantus Insights poll shows Graham Platner, Susan Collins tied

It was bound to happen. Sooner rather than later, Susan Collins would tie Graham Platner in a poll. Redstate.com reports that Quantus Insights Polling shows Platner leading Collins 46%-45% in their most recent polling: Platner's Nazi tattoo was going to hurt him. It was a matter of when, not if. Platner's sexting scandal was a matter of when, not if, it'd hurt him. Leave it to President Trump to summarize things with humor:

Graham Platner is a world-class thug. Check out that rap sheet. That's a rap sheet that'd make Manson think about adopting Platner. (I'm being a little sarcastic there.)

In 2006-08, Democrats recruited decent candidates. The candidates they're recruiting now belong on a FBI Most Wanted List. This won't be a winning year for Sen. Schumer. All his talk about retaking the Senate is just that -- talk. They have to say that to keep their big donors' attention. Period.

I couldn't help but smile when I read the headline to this article . The title is "BREAKING: Minnesota Department of Education to strengthen hiring practices — after Alpha News reports." Thank God for well-run government agencies. Under DFL management, the Minnesota Department of Education, aka MDE, has turned inot an embarassment. Thank God Alpha News takes oversight seriously. Alpha News reports that "The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) says it will now require criminal background checks for “all new hires” and is working to adopt tougher hiring policies—after Alpha News’ exclusive reporting on a convicted sex offender’s employment in a high-level state role."
