Jacob Frey's upcoming civil trial

According to this Alpha News article, "Hennepin County court has ordered Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey to increase the number of city police officers to a legally-required minimum number. That order, which was issued Thursday, says Frey could face a civil trial if he fails to prove the city has 731 officers." Remember that this Jacob Frey is the same soft-on-crime mayor who thinks that criminal illegal aliens are "neighbors." This is the same soft-on-crime mayor that refused to testify at a grand jury investigation.

While Frey refused to defund the police in 2020, he isn't a friend of the police. Frey's record shows that he isn't that worried about the safety of the people legally living here:

Under the Minneapolis City Charter, the city is required to have 0.0017 sworn police officers on staff for every resident of the city. In the 2020 census, Minneapolis’ population was just below 430,000 people. As such, the city is required to employ 731 police officers. However, the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) has been below that number for years.

If Frey was interested in protecting the legal residents of Minneapolis, he would've had the MPD's backs. People don't say that about Frey or the Minneapolis City Council because Frey and the MCC are political hit job specialists.

I couldn't help but smile when I read the headline to this article . The title is "BREAKING: Minnesota Department of Education to strengthen hiring practices — after Alpha News reports." Thank God for well-run government agencies. Under DFL management, the Minnesota Department of Education, aka MDE, has turned inot an embarassment. Thank God Alpha News takes oversight seriously.
