Exposing Minneapolis's neighborly behavior

This Alpha News article exposes Minneapolis's neighborliness. During Operation Metro Surge, Jacob Frey, Minneapolis's DFL mayor, spoke often of Minneapolis's immigrant neighbors. In this tweet, Frey wrote "In Minneapolis, our immigrant neighbors aren’t just part of the community — they are the community. They’re our friends, our family, and a huge part of what makes this city so great." I'm betting that others don't share that opinion.

The Alpha News article reports "Myah Casey and Lindsey Alger recently woke up to discover their U-Haul was stolen after moving from La Crosse, Wis., to Minneapolis, Minnesota. After a long day of moving boxes and driving the 160 miles to Minneapolis, Casey and Alger locked the U-Haul and brought the keys inside for the night. That night, the entire U-Haul vanished between the hours of 4:47 and 5:47 a.m., according to the footage outside their new residence. This theft left the couple with nothing but the clothes they wore during the moving process."

With neighbors like that, who needs enemies? At this point, we don't know if the people who stole Casey's and Alger's possessions are illegal aliens. Still, it's impossible to rule that out, either. What's definitely true is that Minneapolis's police force is vastly understaffed and overworked. It's impossible to feel safe in Minnepolis:

Many of the things Mayor Frey said in this faux hearing are BS:

When Frey talked about U.S. citizens getting scooped up off Minneapolis's streets, it's conjecture. It isn't documented fact. After Frey's diatribe, Tom Homan called him out and asked for evidence. We're still waiting for that evidence. That happened in midwinter. It's almost the 4th of July. This is appalling:
The theft matches with an increase in auto theft rates seen in Minneapolis since the start of 2026. According to a Crime Watch report, at least nine auto thefts occurred within a span of five hours on June 2. And since the beginning of the year, over 5,200 theft offenses have been reported in Minneapolis, according to the city’s crime dashboard.
If Minneapolis had a legitimate mayor and police force, we wouldn't have frequent reports like this. The MPD is demoralized and understaffed. That isn't opinion. Those are documented facts.

Unfortunately, they're another thing, too. They're the sad truth, too.
