Dustin Grage's reports from GOP Convention
Dustin Grage is also reporting "All of the right people are upset that Lisa Demuth and Ryan Wilson are going to jump into the Republican Primary soon. We’re going to win." I'm betting that "one of the right people" that Mr. Grage is talking about is Michael Brodkorb. Last night, Brodkorb tweeted this:
Actually, voters care most about who has a plan to a) get rid of Medicaid fraud, b) cut property taxes, c) repeal the DFL Trifecta's license fee increases and d) get Minnesota's economy growing.🗳️ Take: The MNGOP statement doesn't change this reality: MNGOP gubernatorial candidates spent months pledging to voters they'd honor the MNGOP endorsement. Break that pledge, run in the primary, and that broken promise becomes the centerpiece of the campaign against them.

Honoring the endorsement pledge in most years is a big thing. It'd be a deal breaker. Because the Convention screwed things up so badly and because the media actually reported it this time, people can understand that the GOP is at fault, not the candidates. From Dustin Grage:
Tom Hauser's post-convention report: A 3-way primary likely would most hurt Mike Lindell. It'd be interesting to see who would do best in capturing the suburban vote, which is crucial. Further, Sen. Klobuchar has a history of not doing well with voters of color. Both Qualls and Demuth are people of color. Couple that with the fact that judges recently overturned convictions of 2 black men that were prosecuted by then-County Attorney Klobuchar and things get interesting pretty quickly.https://t.co/qR0yoWBlIo pic.twitter.com/HouU9Vi6v2
