Donald Trump needs to finish off Iran

Mark LEvin and Marc Thiessen, 2 of the smartest U.S. journalists these days, sat down for a lengthy interview Sunday night to discuss next steps (finishing steps?) to the Iran War. They essentially said what I've said for the past 5-6 weeks == that the time for negotiating is history. During this interview, Thiessen properly noticed that Iran has wishes but nothing in terms of bargaining chips. According to Thiessen, the nuclear dust is buried so deep that Iran has admitted that they can't get at the nuclear material (the dust or the centrifuges). Further, we don't need these things. They might be nice to have but they aren't essential. Exchanging these things for frozen Iranian assets is just a lifeline to Hezbollah and Iran's other proxies.

President Trump, it's decision time. The U.S. hates endless wars like Afghanistan. We hate endless negotiations, too. When you first ran for president, you told us that we'd get tired of winning. For the most part, we've enjoyed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, followed by the Working Families Tax Relief Act. You told us that you wouldn't start any new wars. After the messes that we'd been through, that hit the right note with us.

After the Biden messes, the U.S. is in a different position, though. After Biden, we're interested in winning again. We're interested in finishing warsd. Iran started its war against the U.S. on Nov. 4, 1979. It's been said that they've been fighting that war but we weren't. That's true. With a partner like Bibi Netanyahu's Israel, it's the right time for the U.S. to finish this war on our terms. The time for negotiating is ancient history. It's time to write a new chapter in winning. Let's finish this war that Iran started on our terms. Thiessen and Levin lay out where we've been and where we'd like to finish at in this interview:

We didn't win the "War to end all wars' or the war after that (WWI and WWII.) We definitely finished them, though. We didn't srt this war it's time to finish it on our terms. Finishing it by signing a treaty that isn't worth the paper it's printed on isn't finishing it on our terms. Period.
