Will the REAL Donald Trump please stand up?

I'm certain that Ed Morrissey speaks for me when Ed said "Perhaps we can call this A Tale of Two Trumps. One Donald Trump appeared to grasp the necessity of staring down an Iranian regime that has never honored an agreement. The other Donald Trump announced late yesterday that he had ordered the suspension of Project Freedom, a purely defensive effort to reopen an international waterway, on the off chance that Ahmad Vahidi might agree to negotiate on Pakistan's terms..."

The difference between me and Ed is that I won't be as diplomatic as Ed was. NOTE: Ed didn't exactly pull his punches. Ed said "To call this puzzling is to engage in vast understatement. Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth had just rolled out Project Freedom yesterday morning. Hegseth and Joint Chiefs chair Gen. Dan Caine had emphasized repeatedly that the US Navy was limited to just reopening an international waterway that shouldn't have been shut in the first place. Additionally, Iran had already agreed to allow for free sailing through the Strait of Hormuz as part of the current ceasefire agreement, which Vahidi had refused to honor."

I'll be more blunt than Ed. Each time President Trump jumps between doing what's needed (finishing off the IRGC) and negotiating, President Trump loses credibility. President Trump's red lines appear pink, not red. Why fear a president that's indecisive?

The strength that President Reagan had over President Trump is that President Reagan's goals were clear, his decisions final. When President Reagam was asked what his strategy was towards the Soviets, he replied "Simple. We win. They lose." It startled some people but NOBODY questioned him. Right now, we need President Reagan's decisiveness, not President Trump's indecisiveness. President Trump, you've given them more time than they needed. It's time to obliterate the regime. Negotiations are over. If Iran wants to surrender and turn over their enriched uranium, great.

Of course, there's a better chance of me becoming a billionaire than there is of Iran turning over enriched uranium. It's time to obliterate the IRGC. Finish the job.

It's time to finish it or look like a wimp whose word means nothing.

I couldn't help but smile when I read the headline to this article . The title is "BREAKING: Minnesota Department of Education to strengthen hiring practices — after Alpha News reports." Thank God for well-run government agencies. Under DFL management, the Minnesota Department of Education, aka MDE, has turned inot an embarassment. Thank God Alpha News takes oversight seriously.
