Rescuing pilots and WSOs in Iran: what an inspiration!

Monday afternoon's press conference was inspirational on a host of different fronts. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made the most of his moment, highlighting as fact that he's a man of deep faith. Secretary Hegseth said "You see—shot down on a Friday, Good Friday—hidden in a cave, a crevice, all of Saturday—and rescued on Sunday, flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter Sunday." Personally, I had chill-bumps when he said that.

Other than President Trump, Secretary Hegseth is the most-hated man in this administration. It isn't that people hate Godly men. It isn't that people hate the military. It's that people hate the media's intentionally dishonest depictions of this administration.

Secretary Hegseth also said "The United States military has once again proved why we possess the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. In two extraordinary combat search-and-rescue operations deep inside enemy territory in Iran, our warriors executed missions of breathtaking skill, courage, and precision." The thing that's most impressive to me is that the U.S. military have pulled off back-to-back impressive operations under widely different conditions. First, they took out Venezuelan kingpin Maduro in his heavily-protected compound in a tropical jungle. This time, they rescued a pair of pilots deep behind enemy lines in Iran's mountains. The Maduro operation happened after midnight. A significant part of this rescue operation happened in daylight.
When our warriors are unleashed, as this president has allowed them to be, they are unstoppable. When American airmen were down behind enemy lines, our forces—and our president—did not hesitate. Special operators, supported by elite air crews and intelligence professionals, moved swiftly and decisively into treacherous mountain terrain under the constant threat of Iranian forces closing in.
Democrats have said that President Trump was "in over his head." That was Jake Auchincloss. Chris van Hollen suggested that President Trump didn't have a plan. This raid happen at night. Major parts of it happened during the day. What're Democrats say today? HINT: This is an illegal war and President Trump is violating the Geneva Convention.

Democrats are TERMINALLY GRUMPY! When's the last time they've cheered for American victories during the Trump administration? I suspect that the next time it happens, it'll be the first time.

Tim Walz doubling down on Gestapo speech

When Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, delivered the commencement address for the University of Minnesota Law school, he didn't deliver the typical commencement speech. He delivered a highly partisan speech instead. Gov. Walz compared "federal law enforcement agents implementing President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown to a Nazi-era political police force." He called ICE agents Gestapo. Let's compare the 2. The Gestapo's mission was to rid Germany of Jews. To the Gestapo, it didn't matter that these Jews were German citizens and had been decades. Thanks to the Aryan Clauses, Jews were considered subhuman and weren't really Germans. That's an awfully racist viewpoint. Is Gov. Walz accusing law enforcement officers of being racists? I.C.E.
