Charges against Ostroushko family still haven't been filed

This morning, Alpha News reported "The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office still has not charged the people who were captured on video assaulting Turning Point USA (TPUSA) reporter Savanah Hernandez at an anti-ICE demonstration at the Whipple Federal Building over a week ago." If that name sounds familiar, it should. According to their website, "Hennepin County Attorney Mary F. Moriarty oversees these divisions."

Based on this reporting, this family shouldn't be left on the streets. The article reports "In the videos, Paige Ostroushko can be seen blowing a whistle into Hernandez’s ear, then a short time later appears to punch or shove Hernandez, causing her to fall into a chain link fence. At one point during the altercation, Deyanna aggressively confronts Hernandez. Seconds later, Chris Ostroushko is seen shoving Hernandez from behind, causing her to fall to the pavement. Following the shove, several males in the crowd attempt to hold back Chris Ostroushko as he continues to try to advance on Hernandez."

To insult Ms. Hernandez more, "Chris Ostroushko says that the backlash his family has been receiving for their actions last weekend has been "overwhelming" and "nonstop." He’s now "second guessing" living in the United States, because he’s unhappy with how negatively the public has reacted to him."

As expected, WCCO-TV distorted what happened:

While it's true Ms. Hernandez threw a punch, what's intentionally omitted is that it was thrown in self-defense. Further, with Mary Moriarty as the HCA, there's little chance she'll prosecute. Hopefully, that means the DOJ will come down hard on the family.
