Minnesota is a state in disarray
Predictably, DFL Rep. Leigh Finke spoke out, saying that "attorneys general in states with age verification laws are 'almost jubilant' about using those laws to ban 'young people from accessing content that could be educational if they are queer.'" Finke continued, saying "Can we get this bill to a place where we can agree we will not use this against content that is designed for people under 18 to educate them about themselves, their lives, their community?"
That's stunningly stupid. Having children teach themselves about their sexuality? What could possibly go wrong? Supposedly, this is the video that went viral:
Ben Bakeberg introduced this bill as a fairly straightforward bill requiring age verification of anyone seeking to access a website where a "commercial entity knowingly (1) shares or distributes material that is harmful to minors on a website where the material appears on 25 percent or more of the web pages viewed on the website in any calendar month, or (2) hosts a website that meets the criteria under clause (1) must verify that an individual who is a resident of Minnesota or who is located in Minnesota at the time of the attempted access is 18 years of age or older."Transgender Minnesota State Rep Leigh Finke opposes age verification laws for adult sites because he thinks it can be “educational” for kids to access it

How can Rep. Finke think that this content can be educational, especially without the consent of a parent? Does he think that's normal?
There's little doubt that the DFL is shooting for a repeat trifecta. The well-off CAN RUN!>At some point, though, people have to decide. When (not if) do we fight? If you think that capitalism, virtue and liberty are worth fighting for, then it's time to fight as though your life depended on it. BECAUSE IT DOES!
