Elon Musk: what American heroism looks like

While Sen. Schumer's shutdown continues to create pain across America and elsewhere, a true American hero, a man pilloried by the left, has stepped forward. At one point, Elon Musk was a hero of the left. As the manufacturer of Tesla EVs, he was praised by the left. He's stil a hero, just with a different group of fans. Early this morning, Elon Musk made the offer of a lifetime, cementing himself as an American hero. He tweeted "I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country."

As a LEGAL IMMIGRANT to the U.S. of A., Musk has a deep appreciation for the Stars and Stripes. Unlike Sen. Schumer, Musk puts the good of the nation ahead of the good of his political party. By putting nation first, he's the benficiary of tons of goodwill. As of noon CT, Musk's tweet has had over 35,500,000 views.

Clear-thinking patriotic Americans love Musk, not just for this gesture but for his part in helping hurricane victims in western North Carolina and people whose homes were decimated by fires in Los Angeles. Now he's helping frequent fliers that Sen. Schumer vehemently refuses to help. Check this out:

The Hill reports "It was not immediately clear how that process would work, or whether it would be legal, given that federal law generally prohibits government employees from receiving outside compensation tied to their official duties." Whether it's legal or not, it's making Sen. Schumer and his Democrats look like total jerks. Further, Musk has alreaddy offered to spend money on the GOP GOTV operation. Republicans can now campaign that they fought for union workers while highlighting the fact that Democrats shut down the government 3 times in less than a year. On top of that, the GOP can highlight that Democrats ahut down the government to return to the Biden administration's open borders policies.

Elon Musk looks like the personification of an American hero while Sen. Schumer looks like a sore loser. Anyone thinking that the GOP is sitting behind the 8-ball needs to take another look.
