The Democrats hate Donald Trump more than they love America
Once the middle class tax cuts kick in, once the immediate expensing kicks in for small businesses and once oil production jumps from 14,000,000 barrels per day today now to 16,000,000 barrels per day by Independence Day, 2026, affordability won't be the high priority it is right now. Further, wages will keep going up. On top of that, we'll get a real Fed chair installed and perhaps a pair of new Fed governors who don't think that growing economies cause inflation.
It's been oft-repeated that Democrats held out for leverage. Chad Pergram broke that story with this interview:
Democrats see affordability increasing but they still blame President Trump. Joe Biden wrecked inflation in 18 months, with inflation topping out at 9.1% in July, 2022. Inflation then proceeded to stay high for the rest of his administration. Biden broke the affordability problem over 4 years but Democrats expect him to fix the problem in 6 monnths. The problem is that they took Trump literally. Political reporter Salena Zito once famously said that his antagonists take him literally but not seriously while his supporters take him seriously but not literally.Taking Trump seriously but not literally is the key to deciphering Trump. Unlike Biden, though, Trump knows what he'; doing when it comes to inflation. Over his administration, Bidenflation rose by 21+ percent. During Trump's administration, prices 'climbed' less than 8%. Inflation never grew by more than 2% in any year. By comparison, Bidenflation never got under 2% per year.
This decision is easy. I'll trust the felon over the with the aviators any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
How sad it must be to hate a person as much as Democrats hate Trump.
