Nancy Pelosi, wicked witch of the West, is retiring

It's indisputable that Nancy Pelosi is an historic figure. It's equally indisputable that her 'accomplishments' will be treated harshly by historians. At the top of her list is the passing of the UNAffordable Act and the 2 impeachments of President Trump. The UNAffordable Care Act is still getting subsidized 15 years after it passed. Count the ACA a spectacular failure for the American people.

Of course, ABC wrote a puff piece article without a single dissenting opinion.

The article quotes President Obama as saying "No one was more skilled at bringing people together and getting legislation passed -- and I will always be grateful for her support of the Affordable Care Act. She made us proud to be Democrats, and will go down in history as one of the best speakers the House of Representatives has ever had."

Pelosi will be remembered as an impactful speaker. History won't be kind, though, in measuring whether her legislative victories improved people's lives. The UNAffordable Care Act is a trainwreck. It isn't affordable. Prices have gone up far more than expected, too. The longest government shutdown in U.S. history is said to over subsidies for the UNAffordable Care Act. That isn't a success.

Then there's the impeachments of President Trump. Both were travesties. The first impeachment was filled with hearsay evidence. The witnesses were crushed during cross-examination. Check this out:

The article also quotes Joe Biden:
"I often said Nancy Pelosi was the best Speaker of the House in American history -- it’s why I awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom," former President Joe Biden said in a statement. "When I was President, we worked together to grow our economy, create millions of jobs, and make historic investments in our nation’s future. She has devoted much of her life to this country, and America will always be grateful. Jill and I wish Nancy and Paul all the best."
It would've been nice had Ms. Pelosi's accomplishments not led to 9.1% inflation, $5.00 a gallon gasoline and not led to a half-dozen electric vehicle charging stations at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars. If those are Ms. Pelosi's accomplishments, I don't want to see Ms. Pelosi's failures.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency. Tim Walz doubling down on Gestapo speech

When Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, delivered the commencement address for the University of Minnesota Law school, he didn't deliver the typical commencement speech. He delivered a highly partisan speech instead. Gov. Walz compared "federal law enforcement agents implementing President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown to a Nazi-era political police force." He called ICE agents Gestapo. Let's compare the 2. The Gestapo's mission was to rid Germany of Jews. To the Gestapo, it didn't matter that these Jews were German citizens and had been decades. Thanks to the Aryan Clauses, Jews were considered subhuman and weren't really Germans. That's an awfully racist viewpoint. Is Gov. Walz accusing law enforcement officers of being racists? I.C.E.
