Mitch Berg's interview of Councilman Jeff Johnson

Saturday afternoon,former St. Cloud City Councilman Jeff Johnson sat down with Mitch Berg on Mitch's radio program on the NARN, aka the Northern Alliance Radio Alliance radio network. Mitch is fond of saying that NARN is "the wind beneath the right wing, a shiny spot of red in a sea of dismal blue." While it technically was an interview, it felt more like a conversation between neighbors in their back yards. While they had a substantive conversation on a variety of topics, the thing that stood out to me was the feel of the conversation.

As Jeff's campaign manager, I was pleased to hear Jeff talk about Jeff's solutions to Minnesota's pile of probnlems. While Tim Walz has settled on a plan of telling Minnesotans whoppers about how good they have it, the truth is quite the opposite.

If life is so good here in Minnesota, how did Gov. Walz spend a projected $18,000,000,000 surplus, then raise taxes an additional $10,000,000,000? After spending all that money, how can Gov. Walz then say that the DFL Trifecta "fully fund" K-12 education, then have major school districts report major defiicits within a year of the DFL proclaim them fully funding public schools? If life is so good in Minnesota, how did Minnesota's Department of Human Services let more than $1,000,000,000 of fraudulent Medicaid payments allegedly slip out Minnesota's doors? Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency. Tim Walz doubling down on Gestapo speech

When Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, delivered the commencement address for the University of Minnesota Law school, he didn't deliver the typical commencement speech. He delivered a highly partisan speech instead. Gov. Walz compared "federal law enforcement agents implementing President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown to a Nazi-era political police force." He called ICE agents Gestapo. Let's compare the 2. The Gestapo's mission was to rid Germany of Jews. To the Gestapo, it didn't matter that these Jews were German citizens and had been decades. Thanks to the Aryan Clauses, Jews were considered subhuman and weren't really Germans. That's an awfully racist viewpoint. Is Gov. Walz accusing law enforcement officers of being racists? I.C.E.
