Merrick Garland's, Joe Biden's surveillance disgrace
Grassley's memo continues, saying "The FBI targeted the following Members of Congress:
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.)Today, Susan Ferrechio of the Washington Times reported this:Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.)
Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.)
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.)
Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.)
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.)
The FBI spied on eight Senate Republicans and a House Republican lawmaker in 2023 during the Justice Department’s broad inquiry into the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election. Here's the video of the above-mentioned GOP press conference: During the Watergate era, Nixon's wiretaps weren't allways accompanied by a warrant, as required by the Fourth Amendment. Further, Nixon wiretapped "the phones of 17 journalists and federal government employees suspected of leaking information during the Nixon administration." While the Biden-Garland surveillance isn't exactly the same as Nixon's, it's fairly close. Depending on what else Sens. Grassley and Johnson find during their investigation, the Biden-Garland scandal might legitimately be worse than Watergate.Senate Republicans held a press conference Monday to disclose the information. A newly uncovered FBI document related to Arctic Frost revealed that the Biden-era investigation led to special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of President Trump on charges related to election interference.
Arctic Frost was initially launched in 2022 to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. The call records secretly obtained by the FBI date from Jan. 4 through Jan. 7, 2021, and appear to be tied to the Republican lawmakers’ votes to certify the 2020 election results.
