Democrats prove again that they hate the military, American people

If anyone needed proof that Democrats hate the military, this article is that proof. According to this article, "Senate Democrats blocked a Republican-sponsored bill Thursday to pay active-duty members of the military and other essential federal employees who have been required to work during the government shutdown. Democrats blocked the Shutdown Fairness Act of 2025, sponsored by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), in a mostly party-line 54-45 vote. It needed 60 votes to advance."

Further, the article says "Sens. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and John Fetterman (D-PA) crossed party lines to vote in favor of the measure. Fetterman, along with Sens. Catherine Cortez-Masto (D-NV) and Angus King (I-Maine), has also been voting with Republicans to reopen the government. The two Georgia Democrats have been voting against that stopgap funding bill."

It's fair to call Sen. Fetterman a moderate-to-conservative, pro-American Democrat. I might call Sen. King a moderate Democrat on a good day. After that, I wouldn’t all any of the others moderates or pro-American Democrats.

Lest anyone think this Democrat hatred is unicameral, check this out:

Rep. Clark said that Republicans called Democrats back to Washington, DC "to make tax cuts to billionaires permanent." The problem with that statement is that the tax cuts for the wealthiest were permanent from the day President Trump first signed the Tax Cuts and Joba Act into law in December, 2017.

Later, she admitted that Democrats knew that the shutdown was causing people pain but that it was the only opportunity for Democrats to gain leverage on Republicans. She admitted that Democrats were keeping the government shut to gain leverage in negotiations. It's safe to say that failed.
