Tim Walz won't help non-public schools, Donald Trump just did

After reading this letter, it's impossible to think that Tim Walz doesn't hate any schools that aren't public schools. It's impossible to know why he hates nonpublic schools, though I have a theory on that. It's difficult to think of this hatred without taking into consideration Gov. Walz's time as a unionized teacher. Then again, it's possible that he's just thinking in terms who funds his campaigns, aka Education Minnesota.

First, the letter was written by MINNDEPENDENT president Tim Benz and Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC) executive director Jason Adkins. Next, it's important to note that this letter was written at a time when Minnesota had a projected $18,000,000,000 surplus. Now, let's dig into this letter. Benz and Adkins wrote "We are writing on behalf of our respective organizations regarding the urgent and critical need in Minnesota to make sure our schools are secure and safe considering the most recent, and continuing attacks, on our schools in this country and in our state."

They continue:

There are approximately 72,000 students enrolled in Independent, Catholic, Jewish, Christian and Muslim nonpublic schools in our state. The latest school shooting at a nonpublic Christian school in Tennessee sadly confirms what we already know – our schools are under attack. In Minnesota, nonpublic schools, particularly our Jewish and Muslim schools, have experienced increased levels of threats, all of which we must take very seriously.

The tragedy from last week at Covenant School must never happen in Minnesota or in our country again. We need to ensure that all of schools have the resources to respond to and prevent these attacks from happening to our schools.

Despite this intensive lobbyiast action, the DFL Trifecta didn't act on this need. The Walz administration didn't act either. How can Tim Walz or the DFL legislature sleep knowing that they had a chance to enhance security at these nonpublic schools, especially in the aftermath of the Annunciation shooting?

The Request

We are asking for your assistance in making sure the Minnesota Legislature enacts your budget recommendation of $50 million to establish the Building and Cyber Security Grant Program and include all schools as eligible for funding, whether they are public, charters or nonpublic schools. The exclusion of one sector of schools – as you know, nonpublic schools serve many students and families in need of services and resources – is a discriminatory act against our students.
At the 5:55 mark of this video report, the lobbyi=st notes that the Walz administration's budget essentially eliminated aid to nonpublic schools:

It isn't speculation as to whether the Walz administration is hostile towards nonpoublic schools. It's simply a matter of whether they'll be flexible enough to meet the needs of this category of schools. In 2023, when the DFL didn't have to listen to the input of Catholics or Republicans, they didn't help nonpoublic schools.

If charter schools, private schools or parochial schools are important, remember the DFL's hostility towards these schools when you vote. Then rememmber that the DFL is a totally-owned subsidiary of Education Minnesota and other teacher unions. The DFL doesn't get a say in education matters.

Kristi Noem's, President Trump's school safety grants:

Tim Walz rejected appeals to help MINNDEPENDENT's and Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC)'s request for state aid to protect non-public school students. President Trump, the supposedly evil, Nazi-like president, approved funding for enhancing non-public school safety after Gov. Walz failed to protect these students and teachers. It's time Minnesota recognized which leader doesn't care about all children and which leader acts swiftly to protect all students.
